FYI Revival Brewing is taking over the Brutopia BBQ restaurant in the upper level above their taproom in Cranston, RI. Previously Revival had provided the house beers but none of the Brutopia styles were as good as their branded options. The BBQ was overpriced and "ok" so not sad to see it go.

Large space and I'm interested to see the food program, entertainment, etc. that is brought in. Funny that the brewery model has come full circle: over the past 20 years RI breweries started out with brewpubs only like Trinity Brewhouse (based on the restrictive taproom laws); then distro with limited no or limited taproom sampling starting with Newport Storm and going through Foolproof; warehouse and farm spaces heavy on the taproom side with beer to go mostly sold on premise like Proclamation and Tilted Barn; now back to brewpub/restaurant model with Apponaug Brewing and the Revival expansion.

Unfortunately I’m not too optimistic for the Revival brew pub, but I am curious about Apponaug. What’s the word on them?

The food was very good from the start and that's what brought me there a few times while the first batches of hit and miss beer were going through. But the month between my first visit on election day then in December, I noticed the NEIPA improved substantially so they are certainly dialing things in. Still a curiosity and I would send people there as an eatery in Warwick first and foremost and not as a brewery. A very nice converted mill space as well, and will be great with the outdoor patio during warmer weather. More like eat lunch and try a flight there to see if anything appeals to you then hang out with full pours a few minutes away at Proclamation.

Looks like Arcpoint Brewing, based in Belchertown, is 99% certain they'll open a taproom at the Belchertown State School development neighborhood. They started contract brewing in 2017 (and make great beer, IMO) and this will be their foray into having their own taproom/retail space. Late 2019 planned opening. Can't wait!

Lost Shoe opened last week in Marlborough. A clean, well-lighted place, as the man once said. Very nice spot to hang out.

They are ok. I had the wheat and the IPA. Nothing bad, but not knock your socks off.

Nice space, hopefully they do well.

I had a Tree House when I got home and realized how good TH is.

We were going to do the first two legs on Sat but we enjoyed Untold so much we just stayed there. Great bluesgrass-ish band going, good beers, all around very cool. True chill vibes. I'll definitely go again when I'm back in the area next week.

I believe Centerline Brewing in Putnam just got some of their equipment in and Bear Hands finally has a solid space in Putnam at the old Bella's Bistro.

Drove by the other day. Both are in great spots. Taylor Brooke in nearby Woodstock is opening on July 20th.

Bad Martha opened in Falmouth, MA on Friday. Didn't get there but it looks beautiful from the outside.
