8 bottles of Hardywood Gingerbread stout

 

Christmas came early this year. Coolship Red was released again yesterday and I made the voyage up this morning. So worth sitting in Boston morning traffic to get up there. Also refilled my crate of House beer, and got a ballin' Coolship glass.

 

Let's see dat glass!

Those are sweet graphics, but I'm a little dissapointed it's pint glass...

 

it's not. those are 375 mL bottles - it's smaller than a pint glass, and it has a foot on it. here's a better pic (not my image). looks like it's vaguely related to a lambic flute/gueuze tumbler.

 

Just got a great box from apocalypsezombie. GREAT BOX! The two wedding ales were the agreed upon trade. Tom you blew me out of the water. Cannot wait to try these absolutely amazing beers.

yeah. been dying to get my hands on one. only coolship i've actually cracked i drank out of a wine glass. think my buddy snagged me one today though.......

 

Just stocked the upstairs fridge..

 

So I purchased my allotment of Black Tuesday a couple of weeks ago and was expecting my trustee queens1130 to send maybe one or two locals back in the 12-bottle shipper I sent her. I received the packaged today and thought the weight was evenly distributed throughout the box, which I wasn't expecting from two Bruery bottles. This is what I saw upon opening the box:


Inside:


2x Black Tuesday
Firestone Walker Velvet Merlin (want)
Epic Big Baptist (another want)
Bruery glass (glassware I've wanted for a long time)
AleSmith BA Speedway Stout (she said between her haul and others spoken for from past traders there wasn't any left)
Russian River Blind Pig (another want I've never traded for but has always wanted after having Pliny multiple times)
Needless to say, I was stunned to see all of these extras. Initially, I thought the BASS was another Black Tuesday, but was overwhelmed to find out it was indeed BASS.

 

The case was split 3 ways. I seemed to be the only one of the three that could find any in CT. SPLIT 3-2-1.
