beerstradamus predicts no shitshow. while FF is good, they do not garner hype here like that, especailly with the OH scene.

They're definitely pricey but I think that's just the reality of Spontaneous beer in America, even Allagash which has one of the most mature programs in the country its $15 for a 375ml of their blended coolship beer. Its crazy that Cantillon sells 750s of their core beers for like €6-7 at the brewery.

What does everyone think of Juice Ribbons? I loved it, looks like more than most people according to ratings I have read.

 

I think it is great. OH would have been better served to release this after letting it sit for a few weeks. The can I had tonight was much better than the one last week. Fresh can was hot and now settled down great.

 

Late to the party by this FFG stuff looks great. Here's hoping some combination of low-NYC-hype and bottle prices results in my being able to stroll up at 12pm, pick up a bottle of each, and walk out without a line

Was on my way to OH when I got stuck behind a 10 car pile up on Rockaway Blvd. They say no one has ever beat the Van Wyck. I tell you I came as close as anyone has ever come.

Anyway, turned around. Dont need a 5 hour round trip on a beautiful day.

 

Wow sold out of all but Cherry Meertz and Fleur du Norde in 30 mins.

I’m surprised that people didn’t think it would go fast, Lambic is like part of the holy trinity for hypebeasts to flip along with Hazecans and Batterwater.

 

That's true, but I assumed there was a knowledge disparity, however. It's the wrong color, it comes in a weird bottle, it has this wine cork, etc. etc. And if they can't sell it, they can't drink it, and there's no lactose and tastes all sour; "yuck".

 

What makes you think everyone is going to drink it? Tradebroz are always on the prowl.
