    It's stupid... but they have to be making bank on the mules flipping these things, their whole distro model depends on it (very profitable when you don't have to eat the cost, but you better crank out the insane dragon whales). Crazy how I am turning into an old man OH fan, I just want single hop and dual hops at low (hahaha) 8ish ABV, no fancy smancy stuff!

    Yeah but that’s the bit I don’t get. I totally get them being incentivized to do a 8.5% three way NEIPA collab with trillium, monkish. Or a stout with the wildest possible bananas - secondary buyers love that shit. But is a non collab triple more sought after than something like ACE or Mylar as far as what people buying from mules want - esp in late July? Or are they also going wtf like us

    Maybe they bought way too much 'Sconsin Tose and are wondering wtf the do with it. I'd take a small donation, if only to find out what once and for all what it actually tastes like.

    Honestly don’t think anything has to happen in pop culture to bring that quote back. That was an instant classic the moment that press conference was aired, and I use it probably more often than I should.

    I’m predicting a good mylar/space diamonds-ish midweek drop.

    I'm gonna guess people are more likely to pay the mule premium for the big guns, maybe people subconsciously do the $/ABV math, especially if they're sharing. We're aren't paying a huge mark-up and doing I'm gonna drink the whole can math.

    I wish they’d bring back standard ‘mmm...fruit’ in cans without the ‘tose. I don’t mind sours with lactose but it takes away from the drinkability and they often end up being too sweet.

    This times a bajillionty (that's like, ten to a google to a google times pi to the pi or some shit). We didn't need guava, strawberry, coconut to be imperial versionized, it was perfect on the first go around.

    Also I don't get why Forever Simcoe isn't the PERFECT beer to be dropped on a Thursday. Nobody coveting that beer wants more than a 4 or two. That leaves plenty for the resale crew Saturday morning. (edit: obvs I'm bigly disappointed it's on Saturday)

    Say that about any of the beers! Plain ol' ACE, etc. I reckon the short of it is 1% more cost for 10% more revenue.

    I think Galaxy Hop Showers is in the pipes somewhere SOON and that sounds fantastic, though obvs not enough to make me forgive them for Simcoe being a Saturday drop. Clearly I'm hurt, anybody want to talk about it?

    edit: also to anybody longing for the single hop IPAs, other than a few being incredible and the labels being awesome, why not get the single hop 6%ers? They're basically the same thing.

    double edit: El Dorado was obvs fire emogi, and mosaic was meh, what will this be?

    Instagram influencers aren't going to get excited about the beer unless it has cherry cheesecake and lemon lime gatorade. Drinking well made IPAs without adjuncts is so 2018.
