Is there a Numberphile episode I can watch on this?

Sorry not to belabor. But I mean specifically when it comes to a non-collab made-before triple - it just doesn’t make sense to me on any level.

Wouldn’t it be better for everyone (locals, mules, secondary buyers, brewery itself) that instead they make a “new” beer. Dial back the abv. Sub out some citra for, say, some leftover motueka from last weekends motueka daydream. And then voila:

DDH Egg Cream IPA (7.5%) Who’s not jonesing for a good old fashioned NYC fountain staple? Crushed with tons of Citra and Motueka, with a little lactose to take you down memory lane. $20 per 4 pack, 1 case per person.

    Cheaper to make - check
Sought after by mules since new - check
    Instant untappd cred - check
More enjoyable to drink on a 97F Saturday - check

Both of these 100%. The guava strawberry coconut was prob my fav mmm fruit they did when it first came out. Also I really wish Forever Simcoe was mid week, won't be around this weekend and would have liked some for myself

Lol at trying to understand hype mules and those they serve, but yeah I don't get it either.

I think part of it is a good chunk of people coming in to OH are from out of town. So they want what they/untappd thinks OH does best(8-10+%ipas).
Another chunk of people just plain what to get drunk asap hence the climbing abv of all the popular styles.
Also if you started drinking craft beer(or beer that isn't just bud) two or three years ago then cream cheese/8%berliners/gatorade ipa all seem like the next natural progression instead of wondering if it still resembles anything traditional

I'm going to be in Brooklyn Saturday morning. Do people still line up for cans? Was hoping to pick up a 4-pack of each, but need to be on the road by 11am. If I show up at 10 will there already be a big line? thanks

You shouldn't see to big of a line at that time. There will likely be a line which is most of the weekly mule people and such. but if you need to be on the road by 11, 10am is plenty of time for this release IMO. Unless something crazy is added to it.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, makes up for there being no Space Diamonds. I had banked on it being released this weekend....:slight_frown:

A steady supply of DDH Space Diamonds, DDH ACE and DDH Mylar would be all I need from Other Half.

Nope. The days of waiting in line for Tired Hands is over. Even their Milkshakes last for a few days now.

I hade the Cheese cake beer. My buddy like those beers, but he's a guy that still loves eat candy, so split a can with him out curiosity. You guys didn't miss anything, it taste just like you would imagine, lots of beers taste like they could be a Snapple.

I am gonna go with Space Diamonds, Galaxy+X, Mylar Bags, & Forever Simcoe as my OH Mount Beermore.

Oh I suck at typing on phones, add in editing my thoughts on tiny keyboard, I am extra horrible. Also for some reason this website fights the Samsung browser ( I like it for adblock). Whatever the cheese cake beer taste more like a soda than a beer.

I am pretty sure I broke beer over non-tose beer.
