He should have kept it on the down down low.

Could we consider radiation an adjunct? Whats the SRM, the IBU and the CPM on such a beer?:sweat_smile::sweat_smile:

I personally would not drink anything from North Korea, or China for that matter. Japanese beer is generally OK in my opinion.

Never had a Tsingtao? For some reason, it goes well with Chinese food!

I get your point, but no, since it is legal to bring Cuban cigars into the US.

But isn't that what's going in here? Or is he being charged just for reselling alcohol? I thought the whole issue was the nk origin of the beer in question

I’m not certain about the underlying legal issue in the article.

My point is that it’s not illegal to bring Cuban cigars into the US. If that does not align with your original analogy than I missed your point.

Oh I see. I didn't realise that and read your answer as "it is illegal" to bring Cuban cigars in. My bad.
It is still illegal to sell Cuban cigars in the US isn't it?

After jumping through all sorts of hurdles to get some real Happoshu a North Korea beer is the ultimate tick. I'd pay that for a bottle.

Sounds like a forbidden tick. But I think this incident just upped the price into the $2000+ tier!

Chibuku Shake-Shake is my version of a forbidden tick. I'd love to try a carton to sip on, retch, then yard-pour to kill my grass. We've all got our quirks...

Well, look on the bright side: if he were caught smuggling Japanese beer into the DPRK, he would probably be strapped to the business end of an AA cannon.
