Hop Butcher (2019)

I've missed out on the last few HB releases bc I'm just lazy did I miss anything?

 

Probably most notable was the Pilsner, After Rain.

It was pretty good!

 

Got a 4 pack of each at Open Bottle (a few of each left as of 2pm). Thanks though!

 

Having a Relaxin All Cool now and it’s good. I noticed the Galaxy hops HB gets brings out that super dank flavor that was in the last iteration of Galaxy Bowl. That batch was divisive and I feel like this beer would be a bit too

 

Looks like Unwind Your Mind and Smoke Filled Room are starting to drop.

 

Where did you see that? HB's site, twitter and instagram don't say anything about it. Are these new drops or old stock?

Interesting. Are the HB guys taking the day off? They are usually on top of their social media account....

 

Unwind your mind is the bomb

 

They put up an IG post and added to their story...they must have heard the vicious rumors that they were taking a day off.

 

Lots of Unwind at the Open Bottle but the other one is all gone. Sounds like it was a a small run

I'd like the actual details on how they are using one mash and coming out with one hazy and one not.

Are they adding flaked oats to both and just filtering out the floaties in the west coaster or are they not adding oats and relying on a more flocculant yeast for the hazy?

 

Any thoughts on when the next batch of Ribbit will happen? Surprisingly, that beer from the last release was stellar.

 

I really loved this one. All of the flavors worked so well together.
