Belmont Station just put out some Abyss. They said in their first shipment they got about 1/2 what they got last year.

What I have heard is that Olympic Eagle (Washington InBev) will not be bringing in Goose Island BCBS to Washington. I'm hoping that this ends up not being true but like I said I am not hopeful at this point in time.

Cracked a '12 tonight, very complex...liking it "fresh"...damn nice beer. Going to do a mini vert tomorrow since the '09 issues ('10-'12) with a couple of buddies.

Yep, they can keep their 15% overly boozy, bourbon-dominate, InBev stuff. I'll stick with Parabola, Abyss, KDS, etc. I'll never buy another GI beer.

Doesn't InBev distribute Parabola in WA?

Now I'm really confused. I thought distributors were third party. Can InBev distribute their own beer?

Your right Larry. But FW is distributed by Olympic Eagle which is a Bud house and they are defiantly heavily influenced by InBev and InBev policy.

Thanks. Something should be done about that.

12' BCBS destroys all the beers you listed imo!

    Indeed

    600bbls * 31 gallons * 128 oz / 22oz = 108,000 bombers. Round down to 100,000 for losses and other shit = 8,333 cases. 520 cases = LOL.

16 Tons (Eugene) has 2012 Abyss for $13.99 regular or 10% off that for club price. They also still have a few Dissident left.

Was at Pint Defiance last night, and apparently the Tacoma area distributor has been a little slow to get it out. However, PD expects to get at least 10 cases, with a good chance of arrival some time today. Not sure on the price, but their stuff always seems to be reasonable (growler fills of RPM for $10, just as an example).

Was out doing a bunch of Thanksgiving shopping last night, and didn't see any Abyss at Fred Meyer, Tacoma Boys or the Metro either (just as an "oh by the way").

Great. Guess my spurning of all things InBev just means more BCBS for you. It's a win all the way around.

The guys and gals at Pint Defiance have done a great job with their pricing IMO. Always very reasonable and some times a great value.

You in town for the Holidays johnmichaelson?
