It's been a non-stop day. I made a Carton run (with the Shore traffic, ugh!), came home, then Mrs. Mac and I drove down to Stockton, NJ for a walk along the Delaware. Finally home now. A preview of coming attractions.

I thought this was really good, honestly. It doesn't hurt that VS/Motueka/Simcoe is like a hop combo tailor-made to my personal tastes. That tangy note in the finish that lingers and lingers, along with the bright grapefruit flavor throughout. MMMMMmmmmm.

Drafting Table Cherry Tarty Slip. Excellent Berliner. Nice fluffy head retention/spotty soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big juicy/tart/tangy red/black cherries, fruit skin/pits, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough malts; light peppercorn, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready/grainy wheat, lactic acid, and fruit tang/tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy dryness; zero pucker. Very flavorful/refreshing, mellowly lactic, not watery for 5%. Awesome balance of juicy/jammy cherries and Lacto complexity; with a nice sized pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity for the ABV. Mild residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy dryness. Spot on stuff as expected. Thought the raspberry was better. 4.05
