Bruery RS/HS Allocations (2019)

Coming back to the beer....

Wow!

All three options look great. But for me, getting into The Bruery Only option would significantly increase the value of my membership, based on that most of those bottles are ones I would be buying anyway. This list alleviates any concerns I had about access, The increase in membership value outweighs any beers I might not have access to.

Having said that, I don't see any listed as "included bottles only". I take that as the intent is ( yes, there is always yield and bad batch risk ) to make additional bottles available for purchase through allocations.

So win-win, if its not included you can buy it.

This has me looking forward to next year.

 

I noticed that my HS invite showed the 5th as my sign up date. So, I just confirmed, new invitee's have to wait an extra day. That gives Hoarders who want to re-up 24hrs to do so. Now who's getting a little nervous. This guy.

Anyway, I really hope there isn't a limit to the type of membership. I would think splitting up the RS for the last couple of years would have given the Bruery some pretty good data as to the percentages for each class. Not to mention the plan to make everything available for sale across classes. So, they would have to close one class and still make those beers available for sale to the other class down the road. Low yield cases not withstanding. My fingers are crossed.

Like most everyone else, I find the HS beer list for next year mind blowing!! And having a Bruery-only option is SUCH a winning situation for me. I do NOT like sours.

I know there was posting a couple of days ago about not being able to imagine someone joining Hoarders and not liking sours at least a little bit ...*raises hand* That would be me! But that also speaks to how much I love Bruery beers!!

I thought I would be all-in on the Terreux-only option, but the mix looks fantastic to me. I just don’t need or want 2 bottles of another “More Room” series, or 2 bottles of a “super peached sour blonde,” and I feel like we’ve had something like a “BA Tripel with vanilla” before.
Getting 1 bottle of most of the Terreux items that interest me, while also getting 1 Bruery item sounds good (instead of two, which is too much for me and usually ends up cellaring/closet-ing for quite a while).

Overall looks like a great year! Excited for the wine hybrids and collabs, and very intrigued by the dessert wine.

 

As an RS member I am happy that renewal is guaranteed through the 19th. I feel for you HS members as I also suffer from FOMO.

Some DC area folk can relate but when some of the big beerfest tickets in the area (Snallygaster, Aslin Anni, Dank Day, etc) go on sale, I'm first to be online 15 min beforehand to refresh the website until I can buy my VIP tix.....only to see VIP tickets available multiple days later. Hopefully it's the same here for you guys in Bruery saying "spots will go fast" in order to solidify interest and legally cover their asses.

This thread is entertaining to say the least.
Its like their trying to build hype with the members to make them purchase on the first day....i just dont get it.

So what happens if you're hoarder and the membership gets sold out before you purchase? Do you get a rs invite? Or just shit outta luck?

The bruery only looks solid tho.

Btw, been a hs since the second year, have won a bt tournament by myself, and have made countless friendships with staff and members throughout the years...ill start thinking about reupping on the 3rd day, cuz i can.

Yeah, looks like email is the same pic but no info. Definitely looks like a BT branded box though. Looks taller than the 12 bottle hoarder boxes, so maybe it's a 3x750ml bottle set?

It doesn't imply hoarder exclusive, so it might just be a box with regular BT and a couple glasses designed to be gifted. Great idea given the timing before the holidays.

Had a split second of alarm when I opened Spontanaheim. Didn’t realize it was corked and thought there was some kind of mold on the inside of the bottle.

 

Excited about next year‘s lineup. Also really appreciate being able to see which specials are being re-brewed. Don’t remember that before, but maybe I’m just forgetting. Helpful to know that things like Sun Sun, Apfelsap, Pie Happy are coming again. Always hate drinking the last bottle of something and not knowing if I get another crack at it. Sun is on the menu later

Really enjoying All the Chocolate Cows, Triple Berry Hand Pie, and the Marzen.

 

What other base would you compare Cows to?

 

Also had a SHIT and it seemed very comparable.

 

Got a chance to try Spontanaheim yesterday at the tasting room. Wow! Totally screwed up by not buying bottles. At least they had crowlers to go.
