You’d better believe I double-checked I’d selected “Bruery only” before paying. I double-checked my confirmation email, too.

On the bright side, once they release the BT vertical set, Rue'd Attitude won't look so expensive anymore

That’s what I was hoping. Or maybe og port, rum, and a couple other of the best variants.

In for another year, passing on the small batch box though. Last one was meh and this one doesn’t seem too exciting.

I had the same reaction, and was wondering the same thing. Rue D'Floyd was $29.99, pre-discount in 2017.

Looking to touch base with someone who goes to the Bruery fairly frequently (every few months). If so, please send me a message back channel.

...and then logged back in to verify that the Bruery Only option was no longer available!

This was an easy re-up for me after seeing all the beer scheduled for next year. That maple black Tuesday especially! I just wish more breweries would cool it with the maple extract, ends up tasting to much like table syrup not maple syrup.

With Rue'd Attitude noted as being limited, I'm guessing RS Bruery only won't be seeing any in allocations?

kinda funny how after buying a hs membership, the other two options are still available to add to my cart.

    can i buy three?

no way am i going to, but just kinda silly.

This one day delay thing sucks and you guys are giving me some serious FOMO. Got 22 hrs and 15 minutes to wait to see if I can even sign up for HS and to see if HS Bruery Only is still available. Now, I might not get a chance at Rue'd, and it's more expensive?

RS Combo is the only tier that got a bottle of Rue'd included and was the only reason I considered it. But thought, nah, I can always purchase bottles. Could potentially be my biggest disappointment of the year. Fingers crossed.

I just re-upped too. In fact, they may be the only beer club I re-up with this year. Lots of good beer out there. But the Bruery will always hold a special place for me. And they're still making great stuff!

Interesting that Terreaux doesn’t show it on the taplist but the main tasting room does. Might be because they haven’t opened yet and updated it? Hoping they will have it as I’m here clawing at the door lol.

Same boat, passing on this box for now. There’s a couple that sound good but, not worth buying the whole box.

I wonder what the snifters look like. Despite having too much fucking glassware I still enjoy getting more.

Same. Every couple of years I have to choose which pint glasses to get rid of (too many). I now have to start doing the same with stemmed glassware. Still, I'm looking forward to these.
And I'm *really* looking forward to the insulated tote bag! I've always been jealous of my coworker's MT tote bag, so looking forward to having one from the Bruery. :sunglasses:

Who here has tried aging bottles of SHIT? On Monday I opened a 2016 edition (bottled Dec 2015) and it was... boring. Total unremarkable with very little flavor. This might be the batch that has experienced infection; if that's the case, I don't think this bottle was infected - nothing tasted bad or off, it was just a really boring beer.

I just opened a 375ml bottle from Oct 2018 because I was curious if I just wasn't into it anymore. It is much tastier. Heat has mellowed out, nice light roastiness, good body, some sweetness without being heavy or cloying, soft bourbon.

Is SHIT simply a beer that doesn't age well? Or was my older bottle just not a very good batch? (note: my cellar conditions are fine, not amazing, but I've had many many beers that were older come out tasting fantastic)
