It's usually until the end of February of the following year, I believe. So 2020 members wouldn't have to pick up their bottles until end of Feb 2021.

Phew! I can breath again. When you guys renewed for HS Bruery Only, did your cart or receipt specifically say Bruery Only? Going through the process, mine only said 2020 Hoarders Society in both the cart and in the receipt. The only verification that I have is that the allocation page now shows that the Bruery Only option is not available.

Bummed that the allocation for Rue'd is a single bottle. I really hope more will be made available mid month.

My receipt says "The Bruery"under description. I assume the mixed one would say "Bruery and Terreux"

My receipt says “2020 Hoarders Society (CA) - the Bruery”. Then my allocations say “The Bruery Only - none available”

Thanks guys. Mine says "The Bruery" at the end as well. Was looking for something that said only. But I get it. Glad to be on board.

Yes. Yesterday. It did not taste like a cow.

So it doesn't taste like a finely cooked medium rare ribeye but does it pair well with it?

Either way, I got some of both versions and I'll just have to see for myself. Re-upped RS, Bruery only option. Showed up as "The Bruery" on the receipt so I know I didn't mess this one up. I'm happy.

I was surprised to see an allocation of 2 bottles for Rue D' Attitude for RS. I thought this had a low yield or something. Just kidding HS no inverse allocations, just seeing if you are paying attention. I do wish there was more, such a great beer.

I totally agree. I couldn't pull the trigger on my allocation at the $40 price point. I did get a 4 pack of All The Chocolate Cows:
After aging in bourbon barrels for nearly a year, we knew we were on to something. Treated with vanilla and a super dosing of cacao
    Rue'd Attitude:
this imperial porter was aged gracefully in bourbon barrels for nearly a year. It was then treated with silky smooth vanilla, fresh tart cherries, and coffee from our friends at Hidden House Coffee Roasters
Considering Chocolate Cows is 14% ABV versus 12.6% and I feel they have similar attenuation levels I can't see where there is a huge price disparity in ingredients. I do appreciate that the Bruery has a nice lineup of beers at a good price if you have no FOMO and don't buy into hype. That was the clincher in getting me to reup Bruery only for 2020.
    Cheers all

Yeah, I'm not really interested in dropping $40 for that either.

Would like to at least try the Rue D' at $40 and see if its as great of a beer as the collaboration before dropping the cash, but been waiting for it to show up in tasting room(s)

Lol no in all seriousness I thought they were both good. Not sure which one I like better, leaning towards the original. I didn’t get much chocolate in the variant. Though I had a face full of chocolate from Cafe Cocoa so maybe that threw off my taster.

I mean don’t forget the discount. I didn’t mind the 32/bottle so I bought one extra knowing I loved the collab versions.

I don’t know where they’re sourcing vanilla and cherries but, those and fancy coffee from small roasters are just expensive all around. I have been doing the MT coffee buddies for a bit and it’s a lot for maybe a pound and a half of beans each month. I’m guessing that in addition to the extra adjuncts Rue’d was aged longer so that would factor in too.

I should have been clear in my post that the price point is past my personal threshold and I get that some are okay paying the $40 pre discount. Rue' d Floyd was a very good beer and I'm guessing Rue'd Attitude will be great. The description for both beers state aging in Bourbon barrels for ~1year. Not sure about the particular coffee they used but I home roast my own coffee and other than gesha beans the non-inflated rate for coffees is fairly similar for most other varietals. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with Rue'd Attitude but too rich for my blood.
    Cheers

As a current RS member, thrilled to be HS (Bruery only) next year! I need to drink down my beer fridge between now and January by a lot!

Being in SoCal, eyeballing the DC only memberships in the allocations and wondering if I should get one for my Northern Virginia family (I won’t).

Also noticed that I didn’t have a RS option, so wonder if it was “up or out.”
