    Save the date for Cigar City Brewing's 11th annual Hunahpu's Day. The event, which includes bottles of Hunahpu’s Imperial Stout - a monolithic dark beer brewed with cinnamon, vanilla, cacao nibs and three types of chili peppers - as well as unlimited samples of beer from the world’s most sought-after breweries will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020.     I'd love to know the reasoning behind moving it to Friday; will be interesting to see how this changes the event logistically.

    Just a guess.
    Maybes attendance was down from where they wanted it. Rad beer, Magnumpalooza, and BA day wore people out, so trying to leapfrog BA day possibly.

    Maybe just a logistics thing with the event site. Anything planned at Raymond James that weekend already?

    Hearing rumblings that the event may be moved to an indoor location, possibly Amalie or the Convention Center. Lightning are not playing that night, but have a game Thursday and Saturday at home.

    this is what I was wondering. personally, I'd be all for a move to the evening or indoors given the heat of the last 2-3 years.

    Tampa Convention Center is also booked for Saturday and Sunday that weekend.

    Indoor Huna Day would probably get me to go back. Missed the last two years bc I didn’t want to stand in the parking lot of Raymond James.

    Just a BS move, with all the other events. Unless BA day moves to Saturday. indoors would be cool but Friday would still suck... I needed Friday to recovery from Rad Beer.....

    How much more are they gonna charge if this thing moves indoors? Just guessing, but Amalie has to be more expensive than a field outside Raymond James.

    Saw that 7th sun announced Hunahpu's Hangover Day for saturday instead of Sunday, which I guess makes sense. Not sure how to make that show up in this post like above but it's on facebook. I'm curious how this affects Green Bench's event, that's a nice one to attend.

    Attendance is going to plummet.... many people are not going to take off Friday from work, plus I’d rather go to cycle ba than huna.

    Maybe that’s what they want though... a smaller indoor event.
