I don’t know a lot about baseball, but a Swedish sports channel started airing some this year, and I’m really enjoying it, especially with a nice buzz!

 

I’ve had Westy, so the pull for me is the rest of you fine gents! I’m sure whatever we drink will be great in such lustrous company! And I should be able to swing a weekend later next year, count me in!

 

Having another Horse of a Different Color from Stable 12. I am really enjoying this beer. Let's get LARRRGE!!!

 

I doubt anyone would turn down a Westy offer and all of us better make a worthy trade for it... will see what happens next year. Gute Nacht, kamaraden!

 

A laptop for browsing BA...? Not that it surprise me but do you take your picture with an “old school” camera then upload it on the laptop or are you using a smartphone all around for WBAYDN? Out of curiosity and cheers.

Yeah, I can get Westvleteren 12 quite easily around here, I just don't care to pay 9€ for a bottle especially when the common consensus is that it's not really noticeably better than Rochefort 10 or Bernadus Abt 12 anyway. Plus, I'm not a huge fan of Quads, to be honest.

Still hope we will be able to work out a meeting though, I#m sure there will be plenty of great beer to go around !

 

I'll share my routine, sir. The table I'm at right now is in the dining room, not my normal location. Usually I'm in the kitchen. I like using a laptop, always, to browse BA, as I'm usually doing some other research, checking fantasy scores, etc. There's always a TV or two on in the background, depending on whether baseball, football, or some other sport are being televised simultaneously. Right now, the MLB network is ruling. Cheers!!!

Edit: I always use my smartphone to take the pics.

 

While there is not exactly a lot of depth here, this still has the best balance out of the Festbiers I've had so far, with the sweet malts being balanced nicely against some grassy hops, with a light bitterness in the finish. Really reminds me of their Helles in that way, which is also rather hoppy for the style.

 

Gotcha... and yes regarding your edit and last sentence. I choose the convenient and easy way... always. I used to take my pics with a tablet but since I occasionally have the “shakes” before a couple sip on my booze I turned to the IPhone. No, I don’t have Parkinson and don’t intend to joke about it either. Cheers back at ya.
