    On the keg email

DDH All Citra Everything Imperial IPA (8.5%) A OH classic. Citra and Citra Cryo. $225

It's Always Green in Sonoma Imperial IPA(8.6%) w/ Track.
Our buddies from Track Brewing in Manchester, UK make Sonoma, one of the best hop forward cask ales we've had, so we decided to give it the Other Half DIPA treatment. It's normally a 3.8% beer packed with Citra, Centennial and Mosaic. We amped the malt bill hit it with some Citra and Centennial and then smacked it with a ton of Mosiac and Mosaic Cryo. Brewed with extra pale malt, corn and wheat. $225

Thanks, Jay. I recognize I'm not everyone's cup of tea, so that's an awfully nice thing to say even if you're in the vast minority.

For better or worse, I care a great deal more about writing and expressing myself thoughtfully and earnestly than I do about beer. This site's just an excuse, and an easy platform, to combine all these interests. I know I don't always succeed, but that tends to be my objective whenever I post something here.

I'd be honored to buy you a beer someday. Please just let me know when I can.

Wow... Momento references. Haven't seen that one in a while. Now excuse me while I give myself my 14th insulin injection.

Question about local stores. Has anyone frequented 4th Ave Beer House (or maybe Good Luck Beer House). On corner of 4th ave and 11th street. Looks kind of like a bodega from the outside, but seems to have a potentially interesting selection?

Yeah. those guys also run the place on 7th av and 9th Street

    Avoid

It’s one of those stale, warm, overpriced beer type places, who should they get, say, BCBCS, will be asking for “$30 bro”

Anyone else ever try and play spot the beer nerd when getting off the smith and 9th subway.

The classic look is head down, two strapping, forward lean and a walking pace that is 25% above the socially acceptable upper limit

That's called city walking, it's what decent folks do... Check out 42nd & Broadway lots of folks moving your speed there.

Definitely double strapping and walking fast but if there is a line for some dumb collab I'm FOMO-ing over I'm definitely 4/4, but that's rare these days.

Haha I’m not talking about city walking. Trust me I’m all about city walking. There is a different style of fast walking when the potential last 4 pack of Space Diamonds is on the line.

I typically assume everyone who gets off there is after the last 4 pack so I bob and weave with my 25% extra aptitude only to discover I'm all alone with my elevated heart rate, sweat and shame once I turn onto Centre.
