I would NOT pull the trigger at $35 a bottle. As much as I want one, I'm not going to be robbed

Where was the cherry selling for $35? I'm in Chicago for the night and would consider paying that opposed to getting shut out in my hometown. Any leads?

after having it at the goose island tasting, i decided that not landing a bottle of cherry isn't the end of the world. it's a great beer and clearly worthy of release, but i'm not going to give my left kidney for it. if i wind up landing a bottle, great. if not, a-ok with me.

Haven't tried my Cherry Rye yet but I'm currently drinking my way through a Coffee and holy crap this is awesome.
It's out there guys. Keep looking. And plenty of places seem to be getting theirs sometime next week. Don't give up hope!

I was at 7 stores this morning. Only scored 1 coffee. Of the 7 stores, 5 told me that they already sold their cases on Tuesday or Wednesday. WTF?!?

I am still hearing from some places that they haven't gotten any yet and they're telling me Tuesday. Anyone else getting the same info? Really hoping I don't get shut out.

Just to echo a comment above, I also heard from some stores that they're expecting Cherry Rye next week. Might be worthless or it might be something to hope for. I plan on suspending the hunt for Cherry Rye for the next few days and then keep my fingers crossed for next week.

I think Chicagoans would die in San Diego. Our limited releases are brewery only and sell out in 4 minutes.

I heard the same thing from stores that got Coffee this week. Kinda makes me think they aren't getting any Cherry when everyone else got there's at the same time.

lol - not trolling  Just an observation. I think it's a lot more mellow out here. People are seriously acting like they will DIE if they don't get BCBS Variants. I love them too - more than our beer here - just not so intense!
