I gotta claim ignorance on their process, but it was tasty. Can’t say the fresh hops were the “standout” but it was well executed

Maybe "dry hopped" with fresh hops after souring?

Just had a Sasquatch Citra fresh hop mouth pillow. I think it was the first fresh hop beer that I've dumped at a bar (it was hazy.) Lactose in that beer was...a poor decision.

Fair enough. I, clearly, am equally confused. The concept is interesting, surely, I'm just not understanding.

Last year, Cascade advertised a fresh hop sour beer on the marquee of their location on Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy. I didn't try it, but I found the idea interesting.

Attention all fans of fresh hops, Barley Brown's, and IPAs in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area: You might want to add a trip to Orenco Taphouse to your to-do list today.

They're holding an event called Hop Slammed, which is their annual IPA appreciation day. Many IPAs from the NW and beyond. And yes, the first item listed on their Facebook event page is Barley Brown's Fresh Hop Pallet Jack.

I'd meet you there, but I'll be heading for the airport right about the time they open. (Cue the sounds of much sobbing and gnashing of teeth.) My loss is your delicious, delicious gain.

Damn, now I'm even more jealous. FH PJ is one of my top 5 hoppy brews. SO GOOD

I enjoyed the one I've had. More so than the FH Ordnance EOD Sabro and the Iron Goat FH Sabro. I'm beginning to think I don't care for the Sabro hop.

The Ale Apothecary did La Tache with wet hops before, but it didn't come out until spring. It was supposedly aged on wet hops after the dry-hopping process. Don't ask me if that makes any sense because the beer was barrel aged for a year and then bottle conditioned.

What I can say is that is was delicious and it's one of their highest rated beers on Untappd so others agree with me.

Has anyone seen FH Bodhi on tap around Seattle? I've been looking at the taplist for Chuck's, Beer Junction, and other spots, but haven't seen it.

Am at Roscoe's, enjoying a sample tray of fh occidental pils (Crystal hop version), fh pallet jack, fh crux two fresh, and fh phaedrus. Not a dud in the bunch, but the two fresh is the star of this grouping.

Now trying a foursome of Fh Upright sideline, field to ferment citra and amarillo, stormbreaker martell and sunriver green initiative. The upright fh saison is particularly outstanding. The martell isn't awful, but there's not a lot of fh character in this hazy ipa. The F2F and green initiative are both good fh offerrings.

This weekend’s fresh hop winners include:

Sunriver D’Bomb FH IPA - probably one of the best of the season for me, a pleasant surprise. It was on tap at the FH Pop-up at Prost.

Stormbreaker FH Mississippi Red - the Nob-FH is already one of my favorite beers, so I’m biased, but after a few FH misses from Stormbreaker this season, this was a solid hit.

Double Mountain Killer Red - avoiding the green based on recommendations here but the Red is great.
