Split a 2018 Cherry White Chocolate over the last two nights. This is such a great beer, I am so excited for the raspberry version next year since raspberry is my favorite fruit for beer. I may buy irresponsible quantities...

Side note: this bottle was a lot more fizzy than I recall earlier ones. NOT gushing, and certainly no off-flavors, but did have to pause while pouring to let head settle in my glass. Maybe a one-off anomaly.

Thanks for the CWC info. Got one sitting in my fridge that I keep overlooking because I'm probably going to have to solo and WC is just too rich. But I'll open it soon and see if it's also extra carbonated.

Splits nicely over two nights if you have a champagne stopper.

$208.80 for the BT box (with HS discount + tax), so $17.40 a bottle out the door.

Purchased my BT10 box just now, along with the additional Grand Reserve. What a great beer month October is shaping up to be!

I don't think you are going to get many people that want to share how much they are spending on their purchases because-
1)a few don't want to put it in writing where a spouse could see it
2)some don't want to admit to themselves how much they really spend
    3)privacy in general

If honest, my guess is that you would get answers as low a few hundred and as high at 5-10k. Personally I am somewhere between those two numbers...

I don't buy a ton of additional bottles anymore because I ended up stockpiling so many over the first few years. I am much more selective in my purchases nowadays. Still on the fence if I feel like plunking down for the box.

Me too. My first half year of Preservation and full year of Reserve I went hog wild collecting multiples of everything. Now I'm trying to keep my cellar in check. I still pickup at least a 750ml of the weekday beers and annuals to keep the verticals going. Plus I maxed on a couple of releases that I was really waiting for like CRe, Anthem, M&FT, and Rue'd. Then there were the cans of Icky, CR, GM, BT, etc.. Alright, maybe I haven't slowed down as much as I would like. Definitely in for a BT box. I would guess $2-3k on top of the membership this year.

Kind of afraid of what I might do as a Hoarder next year.

I buy significantly less as a hoarder than I did when I was in RS, but I attribute a lot of that to maturity with realizing how much of what I'd actually drink and not end up with too much of, but also having two expensive ass kids since then .

It interesting that 12 Drummers is 20% ba old ale, at the price point it’s intriguing

Exactly what I was thinking. I haven't bought a $9 Bruery bottle in a long while.

Gotta be real here, if you've been to the Anniversary parties, i'm not sure how much of a draw the box is:
    - Pistachio, had it once fine with that
    - Samoa, had it before could go again
    - Spicy BT, there is no universe in which i want this
    - Blueberry Muffin, probably the most interesting

But theres no way i'm shelling out what comes out to $35 per 750. Maybe it's BT fatigue, maybe its the Bruery's price fatigue, but this was a relatively easy pass for me, which is the first time i've passed on a BT allocation in 7 years.

It's probably just fatigue. I think this is a really solid box. If they were sold by themselves at $35 per 750, I'd happily buy a Pistachio and Blueberry and multiple Samoas. That was my favorite from the anniversary party and I'm glad that they're packaging it. Only one I don't want is Spicy BT but I got a friend to gift them to.

How's it different from buying CR, GM, etc? Which IMHO are too pricey to re-buy, but I was happy to try once.

Not sure I agree with the Anniversary Party comment... considering how much I pissed off a friend for my gripes about the lack of BT at this past party. I’ve missed out on all of these variants... but they sound awesome! Easy but for me!
