    They did go back to non-DDH Green Power but I don't think it stacked up to the first batch anyways.

    Strange how they can't replicate that first batch of Green Power. It was their best IPA of the last few years.

    No, they've replicated that profile quite a few times in other beers. OKBK, Another Day, and a couple other vermont yeast beers had very similar profiles. They just moved away from that yeast.

    Also let this be another plug for Go With The Flow if you like that profile! It isn't quite as melony, but is very good.

    Green Power has gotten worse each time they’ve brewed it. The last batch, frankly, I didn’t like. The first batch is one of my favorite OH beers ever.

    My friend and I are making the drive to OH:R and Mortalis to load up for a Friendsgiving weekend

    I did a quick AirBNB and Hotel check and it looks like there is nothing remotely close if we wanted to enjoy drafts for awhile unless we wanted a 50 dollar each way Uber. Is that the case? Anyone have any close suggestions?

    Someone should really make an OH - Rochester thread or at least put Brooklyn in the title of this thread. Not blaming @Kraz for posting here, but just about all of the regulars in this thread live 5-6 hours away from OH - Rochester.

    Sorry about that, for whatever it is worth I looked around for a Rochester thread.

    I am past the 15 minutes or I'd format it a little better with nice big bold "This is a Roc question" or something so people could easily move past my post at least haha

    No man, you're good. It's just the thread title is kind of ambiguous with a second Other Half brewery now open in Rochester and a third opening up in DC. Geographically they're pretty far from each other.

    FWIW, I know a Rochester local on the Untappd discord that's a regular at OH-Rochester and Mortalis. He confirmed that both breweries are in the middle of nowhere. He recommended looking in Geneseo, Canindagua, or Honeyoye.

    good friend of mine lives in Canandaigua which is only 9 minutes from OH Roc. It's a cool little town.. i'd look for airbnb there

    Kind of, but would that thread fall off every few days only to invite said traffic back here?
    Edit: Probably not given some things a week old are still on the main page and it seems like there's an OH Roc IG update every 2-3 days.

    Also are you asking @NewmansOwn to pull double duty in different threads?

    Whichever batch of green power that was released around christmas last year was undrinkable. Smelled like house paint and tasted like an underripe banana. Reviewers were calling it a “melon bomb” but I don’t think that taste was intentional.

    Not that I saw. @RobNewton Rochester thread is live, as @Xerlic mentioned, Im not local so I hope someone with more information can update with places to eat nearby/ the parking situation. From what Ive heard, shops nearby also get cans distributed?

    Can anyone confirm that OH ROC even exists? I've certainly never been there. As far as I can tell it's completely made up.
