    What a difference a day makes. Going to the Chiropractor this morning really got my back back in whack. I feel like I have enough energy to run a marathon.

    Ok, no I don't, but I feel on fire today.

    Now on to the blind beer from @CanConPhilly .

    Here's my thoughts on it, and I'll enter them into the actual beer, once I do the reveal.


    Look 4
    Aroma 3.75
    Taste 3.75
    Feel 4
    Overall 3.75

    This beer pours a dark red/brown color. 2 finger off white head. The head retention is decent. No lacing on the glass as the head dissipates.
    The nose is kind of a wild fruity aroma. A sour, or wild ale? Somewhat funky.
    Taste - This is a sour of some kind, at least it's going in that direction to me. There's a tartness to it.
    This is quite bubbly. The carbonation lingers in my throat. The tartness lingers in my throat.
    Interesting beer. I'd say a wild ale or sour, but I am liking it.

    Low ABV blind beer from @Snrubnivek


    Pours a beautiful raspberry color. Pink head settles quickly to a collar of large bubbles.

    Nose reminds me of tangerine. I get some berry, lemon, and a bit of a pastry too. Maybe lemon meringue.

    Taste is cranberry, raspberry. Pretty tart with some nice tannins. I want to say there is a decent hoppiness to this. Slight funk on the back end.

    The mouthfeel is fairly thick, next to no carb but the dry finish offsets this nicely.

    I like this beer, it strikes a cool balance between fruity and sour. My guess is a raspberry sour IPA.

    The reveal

    Well, I got the berry part right. I can taste the blue over rasp better now. This was a fun one! Blueberry in a sour has some really interesting tart notes. Also the barrel Adds some layers. Thank you @Snrubnivek !

    Thanks @Nichols33 this was phenomenal. I started pouring it and my wife immediately grabbed a glass out of the cupboard. It’s really a smooth & balanced barrel aged stout. Nice maple and barrel on nose & flavor. Thanks for allowing me to try it! Cheers
