Bell's Two Hearted is okay but a little too perfume-y for me so after one I am usually good. Founders Centennial is a little more aggressive but also I am good after one. So...Centennial is not my favorite hop, apparently

Happy Halloween everyone! I picked up a sixer tonight in NECT, and the owner of the store said the distribution for Celebration has been super limited. Some places won’t be getting it till next week. As with tradition, I’ll crack my first Celebration of the Season tomorrow!

I assume just the first batch was limited. Sure it will be quite prolific once multiple batches are brewed.

Still haven't seen it here in Central PA. Grabbing a couple 4/6 packs after work and would love to snag one of these.

Found the first 12 pack of my year. Delicious. This one definitely strikes the right balance for me

I'm sure those so outraged by Oktoberfest seasonal creep are just as outraged as Celebration coming out before Halloween. Right? Hello, anyone?

IDK. Celebration out a few days before Halloween seems less egregious than Oktoberfest and Pumpkin beers coming out in July.

I didn't mention pumpkin beers as I never consider drinking them.
I'd drink good Oktoberfest beers all year if I could.

Of course, it appears seasons are difficult to nail down around here these days, we got our first snowstorm of the season in N. Illinois yesterday, and it's not even meteorological winter yet.

For me it's tough to compare because Celebration popping up a few days before Halloween is not a big deal because Thanksgiving is 3-4 weeks away. However, pumpkin and Oktoberfest beers showing up in July when their holidays are months away...

It snowed in Chicago yesterday, I'm game for celebration.

People also seem to forget Oktoberfest actually starts in September a lot of the time.

Oktoberfest starts in September all of the time, but never in July or August.

But celebration season is just a month or so after the hops are harvested. So late October is right in season. I don't know about it's long term release history but it seems to me it's always been packaged in October

If not everyone noticed I was being a little tongue in cheek, I don't care about seasonal creep all that much. Festbiers don't taste anything more fall like than a Helles and Celebration is just a great (the best?) WCIPA.

Well quit goofing around then, celebration is a serious topic. It is the best ipa after all
