    I'll (probably) be taking this one a bit slower since it clocks in at 11.4% abv. Privyet from Destihl. Surprisingly easy drinking, all things considered.

    I crack up every time I see Wiedemann. I’m glad the brand has been revived. Back in the mid 80s at Akron U., I drank a bunch of Wiedemann granades. They were $1.89 a sixer, and there were many times when I paid exactly $1.89, all in change.

    New beer Thursday. One I brought back from Charleston, SC on my recent trip. Enjoying this one very much. A salute to the Maine Beer Company for their commitment to "...Do what's right:take care of our Earth and the creatures that live on it, take care of our staff, and to keep making better beer."     Bottled 08/27/15 and still pretty special with slightly sweet dark fruit, molasses, tobacco, roast. Smooth up front with some alcohol heat in the finish. I'm glad I stashed a couple of 4 packs for science.
