so is the allotment for session or for ticket? I realize I may get yelled at for not knowing this but oh well

 

Struck out at first, kept trying and scored 2 for group A after the 15 minute hold. Most of the people I know struck out.

I had the first year's release it doesn't get any better I've heard mixed reviews since.

My buddy and I were gonna drive in I just gave up my hotel room

The session doesn't really matter, it seperates the crowd into 3 groups purely for buying Dark Lord. If you get session 3, you can still show up at open (10am) and get in, you just have to wait until 5pm to buy your beer.

I will say that in either 2010 or 11, I forget, they dropped the allotment of DL from 4 bottles to 3 per person in the middle of the day, and then later brought it back up to 4. So I will always go after A tickets. Get my beer secured and back to partying for the day. I do get nervous with all my precious beer sitting in my car with hundreds of eager DL lovers passing it in line.

Saw it last year and again this year. Carts expire after 15 minutes and with the mad clickfest going down some get stuck in "lost" carts. At 1:15 session B was briefly available again.

The trick with trying after they're sold out is to try to get ONE ticket. They'll still show up as sold out in pairs. They've got to all be gone by now. But I know several people who got them after they were "all sold out."

It's all because of that queue, and giving you 15 minutes or whatever to finish the transaction.

It's not BS... it's just that supply and demand is WAY out of whack.
