If you need a mid-walk recovery drink between Roberta’s and Grimm, you can stop at The Well

With a good backpack and some reliable canvas bags, 2-3 cases easy!

FWIW, Roberta's is two stops on the L from Grimm/Interboro, although with the weekend schedule for the L it might just be faster to walk.

    Stopped by Grimm on Saturday.

Ended up just eating at the brewery, the food was great.

The space is beautiful and a completly different vibe from Other Half that we hit before and Interboro after. Love the variety of the taplist.

Can't wait to go back again.

    How's the light year folks?

Missed it last time, seems like a winner for me if it has that Galaxy bite.

Grabbed some this afternoon, it has that classic Grimm flavor, reminded me of how the Doors series finishes.

Mad Fat Tesseract releasing at Interboro some time this week:

This is a real personal one for Jesse, a beer 7 years in the making. Back in 2012 when he was at Carton, Jesse and Joe would talk brewing while Joe bartended. He and Lauren were working on their first batches of Grimm Ales and wanted to make an IPA. But it was a hard time for small gypsy brewers to get their hands on good hops. So Joe showed up at the garage door of Carton and Jesse sold him 20kg of Falconer's Flight. Those hops ended up in the first batch of Tesseract in Spring 2012. Fast forward to 2019, the now Bushburg brewery neighbors, brewed Mad Fat Tesseract, a beer forged in friendship.
    MAD FAT TESSERACT
    DDH DOUBLE INDIA PALE ALE
    ABV: 8% • IBU: 39 • SRM: 5 • OG: 17.4°P
Brewed in collaboration with our neighbors @grimmales. Aromas of dank orange, grapefruit and pineapple. Pours hazy pale yellow. Citrus & tropical juice on the palate, soft mouthfeel with very little bitterness. Brewed with English pale & pilsner malts and lots of malted wheat with just a touch of unmalted oats. Fermented with Grimm’s house ale yeast and hopped with Mosaic, Citra, Equinox and a brewer’s selected blend of Falcolner’s Flight constiuents including Columbus, Centennial, Cascade and Amarillo. $20/ 4-pack

Has anyone else had any infection issues with this last batch of double negative? I personally haven't, but I sent a buddy two bottles I purchased at the brewery and he said they were both infected.

this is the first i've heard of this, but we will get into our QA/QC stash from that batch and make sure nothing is amiss.

I had a pour of cinnamon babka yesterday and really enjoyed it. The pour was 10oz which is the perfect amount for one sitting. Well executed and hit the mark for what Grimm was aiming for.
