Not much can be done about ticket scalping. I know it feels good to report a listing or auction, but nothing will happen as a result. :/

In need of two for any group. Work for a well renowed brewery and would be wiling to work something out. BM me if you can help a brewer out.

Yeah the site is just a crap shoot. You either happen upon tickets that float into being available after the original batch at noon, or you don't. I think they need to do some sort of non-transferable tickets, but I don't really know enough about how it works.

That said I did get session A tix so I'll be going to my 8th DLD. Yay!!

If anyone buys a ticket for over $100...you're getting voted off the island.

To all of those who tried to get their DLD tickets today and missed out, I can empathize. I stayed online for an hour, with three computers going, until the site closed down trying... so I feel I put in the maximum effort and I know many of you did the same.

Then I see some dude post two tickets for $495 on eBay.... AND... then I see someone bid. This is so crazy!!!

So, I wrote the seller a note. I don't mean to come across as the moral police on this, but these types of actions limit access to those who really support craft beer. The guys who drive 300 miles to be a part of the KBS release, the guys who know what the FFF bar feels like at 3:00 on a Sunday afternoon and knows that their food is as amazing as their beer. The guys that know DLD is as much about the people as about the bottles you walk away with.

So, I can cry about it or I can write about it... or a little of both. I decided to send this douche a note/question about his listing.

Look in the other thread about DLD tickets. I suggested to bid them way up and then leave negative feedback, and someone on here started the fun. Do I hear $550???

Reporting you for being a noob wasnt overly satisfying, for the record.

Oddly enough we had about 15 people trying to get tickets for about 10 guys for my buddies bachelor party. It angers me to see people on there buying them just so they can sell them for $250 on stub hub. Looks like we'll be spending the weekend at Founders in Grand Rapids!

    I did the same

"How does it feel to be an asshole that takes away tickets from people who really want to go, just to resell them and make an obscene profit?"

    I doubt I'll get a response.

I am sorry to hear you didn't get tickets (not even 1 set???) but nonetheless, Founders is an amazing place to spend a weekend!

If anybody has extra tix, message me. I'm willing to trade any combination of King Henry, BCBS Bramble, Boogoop, and Upland Gilgamesh. If you want to see the rest of my cellar list let me know and we can work something out. Looking for more than 1 ticket but I'll take what I can get.

Site seemed faster than last year, but I definitely had to double-take that captcha. Ended up with 2 tickets for group B.

I'm just happy that FFF didn't post a ton of tweets leading up to the sale and that the Tribune didn't write an article about the tickets going on sale and that the bottles could be sold for profit on ebay. (Like last year).

Can't you just get in for free by giving them some of your stuff? I figured brewers always help brewers out. Or at least tried to.

This actually won't do anything. If you have an eBay account and you big on an item, then choose not to pay, it will negatively affect you more than anyone. Keep in mind that even if you were to bid $1000 on the item, it would only show the 2nd highest bid, which could be for any amount of money.

Also, I'm not sure how after you bid an item way up (requires 2 people by the way), you can leave negative feedback. You'd actually have to pay what the auction ended for before you're allowed to leave negative feedback (and you'll have to cite a reason why, so saying "HES A SCALPER GARHHHHH!!" wont affect him either).

    Just my $0.02.
