Was able to get 2 tix to group b for a friend. Means I get at least a bottle and other goodies from him. Site worked well for me never tried for tix before.

Was able to get two tickets (C), but I'm not sure I'm going at this point. Did anyone else find the 'city/state' box empty when they were filling out the form?

Got two myself. Was frozen on the catchpa. I refreshed the page figuring I was screwed. Went back and it said I had one item in the cart. Had under 2 1/2 minutes to complete checkout before they went back up. Did it with around 48 seconds left.

All it takes is 2 alt ebay accounts. One person can do it. You can't leave negative feedback for a buyer. And after I won the item for some odd reason the seller changed the terms, so it resulted in negative feedback. I did the same thing last year, but I didn't do the feedback part.

We also had six people trying and got shut out. Add me to the list of people willing to work something out for a ticket or two!

In the end no one really wins... just feels like a fun way of voicing opinion through civil disobedience. There will be no less than ten more posts by the end of the day. The best way to dismantle this type of behavior is simply not to pay the scalpers... but it seems that this whole craft beer thing has exploded well beyond the "core" supporters or beyond any semblance of reasonable behavior.

So glad I don't have to worry about any of this ... though sad that I have to moderate the forum due to it.

The supply of Dark Lord has, is, and will always be smaller than the demand for Dark Lord. As far as people selling tickets or bottles of DL for exorbitant prices, as long as people are spending the money, they will continue to show up. The economy of craft beer drinkers has spoken.

I did not, but just curious how many BAs did. This is not the place to bitch about not getting your tickets, just a place to find out how others many did.

Not enough BA's got tickets. That's all you need to know.

They make it difficult for us to get tickets to an event, I'll make it difficult for them to profit off of it. Maybe next time they'll pass if it's too much of a hassle.

    Already flagged for removal.

I celebrated my second year in a row of being shut out by making a 2011 Dark Lord/Zombie Dust Half & Half (only used about 2 ounces of each). The DL was too heavy to float on the ZD and so they mixed, creating a Citra flavored black IPA type of monstrosity. I wouldn't recommend it, but it was fun to try.....

Shouldn't you float the ZD on the DL?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and be a decent beer advocate (interpretations of "decent beer advocate" may vary). Let me buy your extra Dark Lord Day ticket and I will join you in a side-by-side tasting of Bourbon County Rare and King Henry (both of which I'll provide) while we wait in line for our allotment.

    Interested? Let's engage in conversation.

I secured two for Group A, clicked at the stroke of 12, no real issues. My four other friends did not get any. My brother in law tried for an hour, hoping that cancelled orders would resurface. No dice. Slowly, Group B stopped coming up as a selection, then the site shut out all openings. This will be my fourth DLD appearance. I also went to XV.

Three Floyds is my all-time favorite brewery -- they made me into a craft beer fan in 2008 with my first taste of Alpha Klaus.

was that after you entered your zip code and then hit the find city/state button to pick your city/state from the available options?
