First packaged in 2009. Our release of the bottled BA Torpedo was about 4 months late, which is par for the course at times.

On draught in 2007, very limited and then again in 2008. The popularity forced us to package it in 2009... Oh, the good old days.

I had the 2013 release at the Torpedo Room and didn’t care for it but I bought this one anyway just to try. 20 bucks.

Could be worse...Could have Jager-esque inspired spices thrown in.

I’m drinking it right now. It’s not a bad beer but you have to like bitter beer as it’s extremely bitter. The flavor is like a pina colada, tropical hops and coconut with some wet oak flavor in there too.

Probably would be a pass for me then, as I grow tired of too bitter very quickly.

I just can't get into IPA/BA stuff, I was not a fan of Dankwood and going the other way I love Jamison Stout Caskmates but didn't like the Jamison IPA nearly as much.

And speaking of Dankwood a store near me has a four pack on the shelf collecting dust, bottled 04/2018. I'll be honest, a part of me is curious about how it aged but at the price too risky.

C'mon Jack, live a little. I doubt 20 bucks is going to spiral you into financial ruin, take that chance, drink that beer. You've spent more on less, we all have

Same price as their other corked and caged 750’s, BA Narwhal and Bigfoot. Spending 20 one time to try a beer doesn’t bother me but it won’t be a repeat purchase.

I will choose to not buy those beers either.

    Cheers!

It is. I like that beer, I buy it in the bottles every year and I’ll buy it in the cans this year too.

Last night I ate my words. This beer is damn good. One to savor and contemplate.

Would love to see it in 4-packs one day.

A hot mess. They shelved Redankulous, my favorite Imperial Red, and gave us Dankwood instead. The Lenape's got a better deal for Manhattan.
