    Havent had Invasion in some time now but lucky for me I found it with a 1/3/20 canned on date which equated to an instant buy for me.

    Great beer.

    Required drinking for all PA natives. This used to be inconsistent from year to year, but that seems to have stopped. Past few years and this one are very solid.

    I have a routine visit with my cardio dr Friday he’s going to kick my ass because I’m about 30 pounds heavier then last time when he told me I was 20 pounds too heavy

    [​IMG] Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass not sure when was canned but I figure in the last 3 weeks at most. Pours a very dark near pitch black with a 2 plus finger light brown head that leaves some thin streaks of lace as it slowly settles into a thin film of bubbles, yielding excellent retention. 4.5



    Smell is vanilla bean, cocoa, coffee beans, biscuit, and toffee. 4.25



    Taste follows vanilla upfront, cocoa, toffee, and a nice expresso finish really well balanced and smooth. 4.5



    Mouthfeel is bigger than average, not dry and that is rare with a coffee stout, drinks way to easy at 8%, and creamy and gentle on the palate. 4.75



    Overall I could drink this one every day and be a happy man the rest of my life. It is slightly one dimensional but so crazy drinkable and tasty I can’t complain. Well done Barreled Souls Brewing Company. 4.5

    Damn @Greywulfken hitting me up with some Jane’s Addiction. I can’t tell you how many lawns I mowed while cranking Nothing’s Shocking on my Walkman when it came out.

    The other lawns were done cranking up Gish.
