    Dark Horizon 5th Edition. A (uber) Russian Imperial Stout (ABV: 16% ...) from Nøgne Ø (Norway).
    Not bought in Norway by the way, but here in NL. Way cheaper when you're lucky. Seen a variety from $20 to $49 for this rather exclusive beer.

    Saving most of it to enjoy later this evening with some reading.

    I'm splitting a Troegs Java Head with Wifey. She really likes coffee in her dark beers and she's happy with this one. Darkest brown color with a big head that is fading ever so slowly and leaving great lacing. Strong coffee aromas & flavors. Some dark chocolate in there, too. This is a quality beer from a quality brewery. Two snaps up, with a twist.

    Right along here ba. My first go at Call Me Old Fashioned, imperial red w/ cherries & bitters- aged in brandy/bourbon/orange curacao barrels, from CW of course. Was a little skeptical on it but I grabbed a whole pack for the hell of it. This is pretty nice stuff with a lot going on. Really good balance with all the flavors playing well together. A bit different but still well done,
