You should get one of them there mods to correct this for you, quickly. Maybe like my GF, she occasionally checks in on BA to see if you are saying anything [bad] about her (I usually tell mine when I do).

Maybe she'll overlook it if no one draws any attention to it (and she doesn't recognize herself in the photo in the actual post).

Hitting the cellar and I have 2011-2018 pretty well stocked, so this malty SOB is coming out often the next few weeks. 2011 is mellow, loaded with caramel and toffee. Really pleasant.

Imperial Oak put in a few foeders a couple years ago and have been steeping some good brew in the Savage Oak series including Straw. Later, I believe, I will taste the raspberry variant and a gin barrel aged variant.

Light, bubbly feel. Fruity tartness with a slight funk.

A leftover Oktoberfest that was a hot mess a few months ago. Figured before tossing them I’d give it another shot.


Not a hot mess - that aspect mellowed, and not bad considering it’s a 8 months old and past the December best by stamp (kudos to Three Notch’d for both dates!).

Actually, it’s doing a pretty good job of making me miss Oktoberfest season.

 

I don’t like how this beer looks, and the smell is not that far behind, but it tastes pretty good.
