I’m not sure their way of rotating things regionally but when they did endless ending I got the offer like a week after the release. I brought some then by the end of the day it was wait listed. Then I think it was 2 days later it showed up again and on my “menu” I had 2 options for endless ending one was wait listed and another was open. It was odd. Then it was about 1 month ago endless ending popped up again. Also if I remember correctly it was about $9 more than buying it at the brewery. I think it was $25 at the brewery and I paid 33.99 a bottle.
In regards to things selling out quickly that @Barettes mentioned, there was a point this week where I had 14 options in my app and only the 3 most recent weren't already "waitlisted." I'm sure they're doing great business right now.
Haven't tried the Purple Drank yet but all the sours I have tried from them have been solid. I like their smoothie stuff as well, the Tanglemand Peachauva Puff Tart was a really solid beer.
I ended up buying to cans of Orange Drank from Tavour because of this mention. I can't wait to try them.
Been stoked with the lineup recently. As a big barleywine fan, I'm glad I extendes my shipping date out by a week. Got a box of lovely sours and barleywines headed my way soon. Hopefully they'll drop a few more crazy bottles. Side note, I can't help but think the crashing and quick sell outs is being caused by an increase of online orders. People staying home, but seeking out quality beer. Nearly everything in my feed is selling out the same day.
Deleted the app. Too much of a tease being on furlough and having other things I need to pay for that are important. We shall see where all of this goes in the upcoming months. fingers crossed that some anti viral works and we can get back to touching people without fear of death. I can then reinstall Tavour and drool once again Stay safe Be smart Enjoy
Read an article the other day about how tavour has seen an increase in people joining since the shut down. So there is some truth to that.
My state has it good, liquor stores are considered 'essential' business. Other states are not that way. Not to mention the fear of going out into public. Definitely a lot more reason to order online these days.
My app just got 3F's Hommage Bio Frambozen. Not sure if lambics are your thing, but I'm sure this is a killer bottle.
We did just get it. It's the pricepoint that keeps me from hoarding them. Lambics are amazing though. Would love to try that 3F.
Very tempted. Until I saw the price. The good thing about Tavour is that it can make a decision very easy for me sometimes. It's a no from me dawg, even though I'd love to try this.
That happens to me often as well. We only started getting 3F bottles around here in the past year and only the A&G which runs $34.99/750 at minimum. I have a 375 of the Hommage that I brought back from a trip overseas, but still haven't popped it yet.
I initially signed up in order to wait for those beers that don't distribute to my area - TG King Sue and Perennial Abraxas, for example. But every now and then they'll have an interesting beer or one from a state that I can't get here (e.g. recently I got one from NH) and then I'll bite.
The $50 for a 16oz can of Anchorage DWTD was an easy no for me.... However the 2 - 750ml's of 3F Gueuze for $50 I had to pull the trigger on. 50.8oz of 2 (probably) world class beers for $50 vs.16oz of (probably) a world class beer for $50
Worst part is, people would pay that. I've seen people get cases (12 packs) of it and it was like $150. I get it's barrel aged, but is it really worth that price? You can get almost 2 cases of Nimble Giant or 3 cases of Mad Elf for that price.
