I prefer regular Cape May IPA to Coastal Evac but to each their own and all that good stuff

Agreed, and I much much prefer Follow the Gull to both of them. I love them all, but for me FtG is CMBCs best beer.

PS: Soon it will be FtG season, in fact probably any day now. I really need it.

I agree I think follow the gull is my favorite of theirs as well.

Sorry, just saw this. It’s very similar to Seaquench, which is one of my favorite beers. I think it’s more salty for sure

Picked up DDH White Caps with Sabro and Cashmere. Holy shit. This beer is insanely good. It hits all of my g spots as far as beer goes. Strongly recommend it.

Got a sixer of Crushin It and whoa momma is this good. My poolside cooler will have this in it throughout the summer.

Do you find it a bit on the sweet side though? That's always been my hangup with that beer.

It was sweet, yeah, but it wasn't too sweet for me.

I guess I am in the minority based on others comments but I was really disappointed with Crushin It. Very faint aroma, very little carbonation, and a strange taste overall. Tasted like someone poured a couple ounces of OJ into some Coastal Evactuation. I want my IPA's to be juicy but naturally. This beer just did not work for me at all. And at 8% it is hardly a beer I want to Crush! Still love CM so it won't keep me from future purchases but I'll stick with Coastal Evacuation and Cape May IPA going forward if I want a hop forward IPA from them.

I agree with this. When it first came out I liked the description but I couldn't finish a whole pint when I finally got to try it. It's both too orange juicy and too boozy for me.

Have you tried CM follow the gull? I think it's one of their best IPAs.

Have not tried FTG but will give it a try if i see it, thanks. I am in North Jersey so CMB distribution is still somewhat limited to their core beers.

I was able to find a couple 4pks of Follow the Gull at Clifton Commons Spirits last year...I highly recommend trying it. I'm sure you'll be able to find it at other spots.

They just announced that the Grove is hitting distro next week. FTG is next on their release calendar so my guess is it will be out early/mid May.

Anyone know what beers western Lancaster County, PA gets? Saw some locations in Elizabethtown/Mt. Joy get CMBC beer and would like to possibly make the long haul there to get a couple cases.

Key Lime Corrosion releases today! Been too long since I've enjoyed Corrosion cans, hopefully will soon...

delivered in CMC, Atlantic County, and Cumberland County!

I know this is the CMBC thread, but I thought this might be a better audience for my question than the NJ brewery thread.

Has anyone tried anything from Gusto Brewery in North Cape May? I'll be in that area for July 4th and am thinking about checking them out.

Yup, been there a few times. Good beer, small little place but everything I've had from them is solid. And by the way, I think one of the owners from Gusto is an old CMBC employee, so your comment is sort of relevant
