Central Waters has the most under-rated barrel program in the country.

I love to have BBS sitting around as an alternative to some of the big, huge bruisers (like BCS). BBBW is one of my top 3 beers to age, absolutely love it.

Can't wait until the Anniversary Party!

I like BBS, but it can't compare to BCS. That shouldn't be taken as a knock on CW, but BCS is the bar that has been set for amazing bourbon barrel stouts. Nothing truly compares, IMHO.

It will be good to have to fill the cravings, but it can't replace what is world class.

Yes. I saw it on shelves for a couple of months last year. Now the BBBW is a different story.

Y2K (non -bal barely wine) generally gets released with BBS, right around the next few weeks....CW BBBW and Peruvian Morning get released late Jan/ Early Feb as has been mentioned already....

I'm still sore over the fact that Peruvian Morning went sour...

Does that mean you won't be buying any BBS?

Funny. That's one of my wife's top 10 beers, & she hasn't noticed the souring yet. Down to a few bottles, so at least they didn't go to waste!

It's not BCS, but what is, right? Their BB Stout, BB Barleywine, and Peruvian Morning (most years) are simply amazing. Props to Satin Solstice and Le Petite Mort as well!

I'm sorry about what I started. It's a great beer, I do enjoy it very much. Didn't mean to dis CW or this beer, I think they are both great. Peruvian Morning is an amazing brew, one of my favs, and BBBW is right there as well. Bourbon Barrel La Petite Mort, my god. Awesome.

It seems like every time someone starts talking about a BA stout release from a brewery BCBS comes up. Some people are sorta dicks about it too. "Oh well (blank) is good but it's not bourbon county". "I will take one 1 case please". When did we decide every BA beer has to be BCBS clone?

It is Sunday and I am really, really ready to seek this out in a couple of days. I've never had it.
I've never had BCBS either, but I have one 2012 bottle waiting for me that I am going to drink on Xmas.
