    Good afternoon, advocates. I took a self-imposed week long break from drinking to clear my head. The stress of the pandemic became too much, as two of my cousins succumbed to it, my grandmother is in a facility with diagnosed cases that have now reached her floor, and people I considered friends showed utter lack of sympathy to the point that I contemplated causing them physical harm. So, my post in this forum (since deleted) last Sunday was a byproduct of all those pressures exploding at once. I didn't receive a warning or a temporary ban, but I'm thankful a moderator had the sense to remove it. That said, I'm regretful for posting it in the first place. Please forgive me, or you can tell me to go f*ck myself. I'm good with either. Haha! The gf and I have been under quarantine from the beginning, so we decided to head somewhere that's more conducive to my overall well-being. Hint: they make good beer there. Anyhow, I might pull up a chair and have a beer with you guys later if you'll have me. Cheers.

I've lost my shit at friends and family who didn't know any better than consume the BS fed to them by their chosen media outlet, and consequently didn't take this thing seriously at all - until it was far too late. I get your frustration, and I'm sorry for your losses.

    Good to see you back playboy. Found out last night my dad's in ICU in a UNC regional hospital with possible corona so I'm feeling a bit of your stress at this moment. Keep strong, it's all we can do in this bullshit.

    Morning BA’s! Got a brisket on the smoker, and will be drinking this classic all day.

    Usually my neighbors start to come over when they begin to smell the meat, but unfortunately that’s another casualty of social distancing. At least I’ll have leftovers.

    Phase Three Pressed Coffee/Chocolate Imperial Porter. Really enjoy this series of coffee porters. This one is just as good as the maple and vanilla versions. Haven't tried the hazelnut one yet, but have a can waiting. If you took milk chocolate or chocolate syrup and put it in a cup of gourmet coffee, that's what this beer tastes like. Just like the others in this series, fuller and thicker than any other porter I've had. Damn good stuff.

    Hello Sunday drinkers, hope everyone is well and thirsty! Six hours of OT complete, what a shit show with government contract hardware due 4/31. Wrapping up a second bloody mary (the wife makes them awful strong....) and cracking a Pseudo to wrap up brunch and lay the foundation for some rest by the pool. Currently a nice 82 degrees with a breeze. Hope it's nice enough for y'all to get out and enjoy some fresh air. Cheers mates!

    Glad you're back. We've got your back. Hope you're doing okay. I had this virus, as well as both of my parents. My Dad passed a few weeks ago from complications from it. This stuff is seriously no joke. This all has been absolutely terrible, but we will all get through this and see better days in the future. Hang in there man. Cheers!
