Maine Beer Co. Peeper Ale. I didn't even have to look for it. I went to talk to one of my "beer guys" to ask him what he had new and that's what he handed me. Haven't had a problem finding it the several times I've had it since.

That's what I came here to say!

I also have to add Odell's The Meddler Oud Bruin.

Perhaps I need to give this one another try. I enjoyed the couple times I drank it, but I also found it not quite live up to my expectations.

I only gave it a 4.03 score when I drank it fresh but the last couple of bottles, it seems to me to be more decidedly sour, which is a good thing. It still may be not up to snuff to your palate now but it's worthy of a revisit just in case and if you buy more than 1 bottle, cellaring couldn't do any harm. That's my take.

Both times I drank this was within the first couple weeks of its release. Maybe I will give it another go.

I don't cellar though. If I buy it, I drink it.

Yeah, I hear you. At this point in my life, I feel cellaring is something I should give up. Drink 'em while there's still breath in my body. If there IS something to the reincarnation thingy, I hope I come back, again, as a good beer drinker.

Columbus Brewing Bodhi, Olde mecklenburg Bauern Bock, and Mash House Hefeweizen. Tasted scarily like Weihenstephaner.

Just came here to say Bodhi (which I hear may make an appearance in bottles soon!) Head Hunter and White Rajah qualify too I'd say!

    I heart Ohio:slight_smile:

DFH Indian Brown. Tastes like burnt french toast, in a good way.

I wasnt terribly impressed with White Rajah (im a fruity hop head). Now Head Hunter, Thats muddle somewhere at the top of IPAs (my own personal list) with 3Floyds BrooDoo, Two-Hearted, and Columbus IPA.

You're a lucky bastard you know that? Haha but seriously though, if you can try their Sang Noir that one is also fantastic. Overall they're just killing it in the sours department. I hit up their brewery when I was in Portland, and along with Hair of the Dog it was the highlight of the trip

Good list! Surprised Rajah didn't do it for you as a fruity IPA guy. Comes across very tropical to me. And CBC IPA is a grapefruit treat and a mainstay in my fridge. I'd give Rajah another chance, especially on draft if you're lucky enough.
