They're pretty easy to find on eBay if you want to go that route: Here, Here, and here. If you just search bitburger glass tons pop up.

I have been shutout trying to find this beer. Even Woodman's didn't carry it. The search continues.

Thanks for saving me a trip.

FWIW -- I have it on good authority (@FBarber) that Binny's here in Illinois is carrying it -- if you can get down this way.

Its there and according to the guy at Binnys when I talked to him this weekend - its not selling very well. So you shouldn't have a hard time finding it.

I wrote to Bitburger again and they sent me a list with a grand total of 5 supermarkets carrying this in all of Cologne, although there are supposedly more to follow. I managed to grab two cans today and they actually came in a display case rather than just going on the shelf.

I was also quite pleasantly surprised to see that these actually had a canning date printed on the bottom, that is something you very rarely see in Germany (2/21/20). Best by date is 2/20/21.

    Probably hoppy IPL/IPA territory

Absolutely. Don't expect a traditional pilsner. It's more of an Americanized IPL for sure.

Any IPL from their past hop variety packs was a winner in my book. I could buy cases of those.

I'm not necessarily a huge fan of IPLs, which is why I was quite surprised by how much I enjoyed this. I really think there is a great balance of German noble and American aroma hops going on here, although the fact that this uses three of my favorite old-school C-hops probably helps.

I thought it's kinda funny that some people note that this is "not that hoppy for a triple hop'd beer" in their reviews. Please note that this is not triple "dry" hopped, the name simply refers to using three hop varieties, plus Bitburger's Siegelhopfen mixture.

This is a funny beer. I'm still deciding how I feel about it as I'm drinking the last of the six pack. I'm not crazy about it, but I don't necessarily dislike it. My cans had a teensy bit of diacetyl that I thought worked against the flavor profile a little bit. I found the texture a little dense and pasty for a lager, and the linger quite heavy and more AA coating than I expected. After all, it's a hoppy lager, but it's pulling to some confusing adjacent directions.

I feel like a neutral emoji with question marks above its head.

It is really hard to describe. It's like a perfect balance of traditional German/hoppy American. I guess it's simply best described as a "triple hop'd lager."

I will also add that when I first tried it all I could taste was German hops. I had no idea there were American C hops in it until I read about it afterwards. It mostly tastes like grass/green pepper to me, although in hindsight the oily bitterness on the aftertaste was more citrus peel/resin rather than spicy.
Also, the malt bill is not quite what you would expect, either. It's darker than mere pilsner malt, a little more biscuit/honey sweetness going on but yet not near to the caramelly Vienna/Dunkel level, either. It's also kinda creamy, well carbonated but has that slick feel you don't really get from a pilsner.

You can buy this in England, but as far as I know, only from Adnams brewery in Suffolk. Late one night I ordered it (you have to buy 24 cans online, at about £1.25 per can, which is extremely cheap), and they took twelve days to get here, but I'm really enjoying it. Definitely Sierra Nevada! Yes, old-school American hops, and the German hop, and I think the use of malt is wonderful...Yes, peculiar if you are expecting something like a pilsner. And I don't think you should have it too cold...I'm currently drinking it from a stemmed Watney Mann World Cup Ale glass, dating from 1966, of course!

I was happy to see that Triple Hop'd made its way to my local monopoly store this weekend, it was released in the beginning of April but the monopol shut down orders of limited release beers. The packaging date is february 13th. The color of the beer is a dark amber, and I'm guessing there's a bit of caramel malt in there to push the color into that range, beyond any color achieved by a percentage of Munich malt. The aroma of the beer is mild and clean but with a noticable American hop aroma. The flavor is hop forward and resinous, it tastes very similar to a clean APA. The bitterness is pronounced and also in line with an APA I find. I don't really pick up on much in the way of malt flavors, the malt is in the background and the hops are very much in the foreground. It's quite a dry beer which is no doubt helped by the ample (compared with say regular Bitburger) hop flavor and bitterness. I imagine the hops might be even more bright at a few weeks old but I have zero complaints about the level of hops present in this beer as it stands. APA is my favorite style of American craft beer, so this is right up my alley and it's a tasty and well made beer in my opinion.

Well, I'm now halfway through my 24 cans...I'm really enjoying them. And again, I think they are better not too cold, room temperature perhaps. And again, the use of malt stands out for me (I don't know why, perhaps it's me), but the malt/hop blend seems seamless, so...Yes, it is a bit dry (and very hoppy), especially when compared to the pale ale... and a nice bitterness. I think this beer will hold up with age, as do all the classics from this brewery...I'll keep a can and have it in February 2021. I'm sure it will still be delicious...Unfortunately, I haven't seen any of the classics (apart from the pale ale) here for years...the stout, Celebration, Bigfoot (it appeared only in 2008 in one off-licence...I still have a bottle from then). I'll have to try a Bitburger lager soon...Anyway, I think it's a flawless beer!
