Map shows two breweries in my state, who don’t really do this sort of thing so we’ll see if they even release the beers.
I know of one other locally who said they brewed this up last week. I have no inherent desire to try

And why try all of them? To see how technically superior or flawed some breweries are by brewing the same product? I didn’t see anyone trying to obtain all the fire resilience beers last year.
Are many really putting their own twist on the beer? That defeats the purpose imho.

this just reeks of boredom. Sorry.

Op, I bet you try five and realize they are all the same and give up the quest to try them all

Where did you find the homebrew recipe?

The two I tried tasted quite different and appear to be base recipe. The images on Untappd range from bright yellow to turbid orange.
Interesting to see how the different breweries water, technique and yeast strains change the beer recipe.

When first I learn of this, it was exciting. Both for the cause, and the opportunity to see how variations, on a base recipe, would showcase the artistry of many breweries.

Unfortunately, even with many local variants, they were brewed in such small batches that they quickly became unavailable. And, from what I have heard, brewers are essentially brewing as close to the base recipe as available ingredients allow. Seems like a missed opportunity. Understandable, given the current economy, yet still, hopefully, the cause will benefit.

I have tried and reviewed only one.

    BTW...

Less than 70 are even listed here, only about 50 have ratings, 22 with multiple ratings, about 32 total reviews (less then 10 with multiple reviews).

Far too few to really form any valuable judgments. And I haven’t read them all yet anyway. I do need to post my review though.

It was through the link for the beer.
    https://alltogether.beer/
Go to 'download the recipe,' it goes to a dropbox thing, select 'recipe' again, and there's options for homebrew and for commercial.

You can’t swing a dead cat without hitting a brewery around here making one. I’ve had one (Bellwoods)x and have one on order arriving on Tuesday (Willibald). I’ve missed five or six already. I’m guessing I will have had 4 or 5 by the time this is done. I’m curious to see how the ones I try might differ.

    Nobody.

But, dude, based in the NYC area (where they inherently think they're the best, most important ever, at anything) wanted to know what we were doing about a thing that, well.......

I've only seen two (both NEIPA variants) and haven't seen any others.

So far, the two I've tried are okay at best. I'd like to try a few more since they recipe concept (as I understand it) certainly allows for variance. And I'd really like to find a west coast IPA version, but I'm not holding my breath on that.

And if I find other NEIPA variants and they come across much like the first two, I am sure I'll pass on others barring some sort of exceptional buzz or inside scoop on a particular beer.

It’s not a New York thing. I get that Other Half is in Brooklyn, but I had one today brewed in Michigan and it was great. Maybe next time do a little homework before being so rude.

Have tried two from IL. One from Phase Three and one today from Mikerphone. Both good beers imo. I give the slight nod to the one from Mikerphone. Would be interested in trying a WCIPA take on the recipe but not sure if any of the IL breweries are going this route. In any event, good cause I'm happy to support. Cheers to Other Half for leading the effort and for all the breweries supporting it.

Magnify sold out in a little over three hours here and a few of the others have gone within a day or two of their release. From I saw on the map, some of the brewers have yet to release theirs as well.

Twin Elephant sold out in about 15 minutes. Smaller run then Magnify no doubt.

That was one of the ones I was hoping to get from here in Jersey, along with Bolero Snort. I was able to get the LIC, Fifth Hammer, and Threes iterations last week and I've been checking the All Together website to see if any more breweries around here plan on releasing over the next few weeks.

I haven't seen many of them here in Maine. Bissell Brothers, Equilibrium, and a small handful of local breweries have dropped some - maybe 4 so far? I've only tried the Bissell "variant" thus far, but for what it's worth, it was shockingly delicious. As in, the single best Bissell IPA I've ever had.

If the others are just as good, I'll grab any of them that I can find. If for nothing else but to support the cause. Good on Other Half for spearheading this.
