sucks. it's been a longstanding rumor that the location would close.... i've never been inside, but i've always been fascinated by the property itself. i reckon they'll auction off the equipment. the property is mixed use, and probably will get demo'd based on the tax assessment records. i've always been partial to hooverville before games, but man that pyramid biergarten was always packed with big groups having a blast. ain't nothing wrong with a solid hefe outside the ballpark on a nice day. sad to see it go.

Has anyone seen Boneyard cans in the Seattle area? I've seen their bottles around so expect they have at least some WA distribution...

It’s been radio silence from Boneyard whenever anyone has asked them about it on FB and IG.

Same with Spokane Craft Beer Week. Technically it's status is still "postponed," but it's pretty unlikely to be rescheduled.

I can't imagine SBW gets rescheduled at this point. Haven't drank this week but will make sure to use my SBW9 glass this weekend.

What is the availability of Freemonts Brew 4K these days?
I know this is not the trading thread, but I am super interested in getting a bottle and am wondering if its still on shelves anywhere?

If you have a chance, check the Fremont thread in this forum. There's a brief discussion regarding it's release and availability.

Long story short, it seems to have been made in very limited quantities this year and has seen very limited distribution (no place here in PDX got more than a case, and it sold out quick). I heard mention of a possible second drop at some point, but that was over a month ago and so far "nada."

Gotcha, my bad I missed that thread.
Damn sad to hear, last year I was in Eugene in July and found a bottle of brew 3k, it was phenomenal! Hopefully a second drop comes through!

The PCC grocery co-op by my house had a case of B4K last week but it's now gone.

Today was release day. Kinda of happy to see a small line (Socially distanced of course). Gotta support our small local brewers. Canned 5/12. Super fresh. Pumped...normally don’t drink on a school night. We’ll see :sunglasses:

Anybody have any experience with Fair Isle Brewing? I hadn't heard much about them, but have seen then brought up in a couple social media posts lately.

Their saisons are really solid. I drank a Bobbi tonight.

I've had almost their entire lineup. The saisons are excellent and they offer quite a bit of variety (ignoring fruit) if you ever get a chance to visit and have several side-by-side.

Winona is my personal favorite because the aroma reminds me of Peche N Brett but I don't believe it is actually brewed with any fruit. Bobbi is very hoppy and I've had some shipped to me a couple times now because I keep wanting more. I was also very impressed with Leila made with Purple Egyptian barley. I wish there was more of that one.

They only opened in January so I hope they survive this mess.

I absolutely love Fair Isle. I’m glad I was able to stop in at the taproom three times before the pandemic hit. Still got some bottles of Ana, Bobbi and Leila left, but will definitely need to get some more when they’re available again.

Another Twin Sisters brew, Descendant. Labeled as a "hazy IPA", it poured clean and clear, like a traditional IPA. Which brings up a question: Do I ding its score for not being murky? A regular brew that had significant haze would get dinged, so why not a hazy that's clear?

Whatever, the beer wasn't very good, so it's kind of a moot point. Y'all can feel free to skip this one if you see it.
