Your most expensive beer haul

Just under $500 at Russian River. Then another 350 for a hardshell piece of luggage to fly it all back to NJ

 

$275 at the Alchemist... definitely not the norm though

 

At least 5 hauls from Jackie O's Over $150 .. usually I spend $110 ($220 a month) every other week on off the shelf hauls..

 

$400 on 2 bottles of Utopias this year.

 

I've spent well over 100 for a week. Now, if we include gas money, thats a completely different story.

 

Don't remember the exact amount, but it was probably this day:

 

Current record: I believe $105 in SF at a bottle shop while on vacation.

Hopefully I get to visit HF in March (as I am planning to do) and destroy that mark.

 

100$ at the New Glarus brewery. Also last week bought three Firestone XVI (23*3=69) a RR Supplication (14) Dechutes Abyss (15) and 2 Pliny (10) so a total over about $110

 

Your wife being pregnant is the BEST time to drink. You have a DD for 9 months. No going to a bar and saying "OK, who's drinking and who is laying off and driving?" Green light to have drinks when you go out.

 

'10, '11, '12 Abyss 6-pack ~$90.00. In '07, '08, '09 I was able to get a case at $12/bottle, $144.00. Totally worth it!

 

Every couple months or so i make the trip to HF in Vermont and usually hit up alchemist and Hunger Mountain coop, plus once there happened to be a lawsons farmers market in montpelier the same weekend i went to HF.

HF-$100-150
Lawsons-$150 (seared palate was $30 per and bourbon fayston $25 per)
Alchemist-$120-$150

That is typically what i spend if i hit all 3 plus if i find anything at the co-op.

 

About a month ago I went to Three Floyds and walked out with $75 in beer, and then on the way back I stopped at my usual beer store and picked up 2 sixers of FBS and a bottle each of Parabola and Sucaba. So about $135.

 

I spent 4 days in Portland and came home with 700 bucks in beer.

 

just shy of $1000. every year around xmas time, i get a bonus and I treat myself to all of the expensive beers at the Binny's down the street from me. these more expensive beers I would not normally get during the rest of the year.
an example would be some of Mikkeller's rotating or one off releases that range from $15-$30 by me.

 

Under $100 for me, but I'm still a noob.

 

My best haul was from both Five points Bottle Shops in Athens, I dropped a total of $760. It hurt a lot to pay that down but damn if I was happy to have five bottles of Weyerbacher Thirteen in that stash.

 

About $130 from two stores.

 

Can't remember exact amount but as I recall 'bout two...fucking much.

 

Over $100 for 2 bolt cutters and some BCBS.
