Also was the missing beer on your receipt? I'm just curious of the details because I order beer from them all the time, and hearing that makes me very nervous, especially because sometimes I may not have the best memory of what I ordered, though I'd like to think i do, now I'm just worried.

I do love Tavour, it's just an expensive indulgence (but I cant stop, I'm kind of addicted).
I also do have to say though, if I did not integrate beers from my local store into the contents of my fridge, the habit would become unsustainable, and also the selection would not have enough variety. That being said, the part of that statement about variety goes completely both ways, which is another reason I continue to consistently order beer from them.
As far as my previous comments about not finding anything of interest since the pandemic, that is no longer true, Tavour has once again wooed me with there irresistible selection of beers I cant find locally. The thing i said about it being so expensive that at times it's off putting still stands obviously, which doesnt mean it's not worth it, it just means if you drink a lot of beer like i do and dont have infinite amounts of money to drop on luxury, then it just simply cant be your only source... but as I stated earlier as well, if you're a connoisseur, you're missing out if you only have a single source anyway regardless of affordability.

Guy at work does a friends pool of over $500 to get free shipping for a bunch of people. He got some stuff from Drekker and ND is a ways from jersey anyways the beers was terribly soured and skunky and just plain bad news. Tavour did refund on the price of that beer but found out drekker did not refund tavour because (that’s the risk you take shipping beer). I get it. But tavour was nice enough to take a hit on their part for customer service. Will use again.

Damnit now that I have adwtd and a medianoche in my crate you’re making me want to get it sooner so there’s less chance of a screw up with those two.

of note though beers have been lasting longer than they usually do. I was able to get a mikkeller beer geek vanilla shake today after only being able to log in after 5 which in April I wouldn’t of been able to do. Seems like things are going back to normal

I think the people (like me) who started their first Tavour crate did it for ADWTD and most of us have shipped the crates. I have already drank all the stuff I added to the ADWTD and wasn't super impressed with some of it particularly at the price I paid for them (I'm looking at you, Woodland Empire cans)- but maybe I'm just a snob.

Yea I just add stuff like meads/stouts/sours maybe 1-2 a week average. Unless I know I’m going to ship out in 1-2 weeks then I’ll add ipas. So I usually don’t get a box until every 3-4 months. I’ve found some breweries I really like, like smog city and some that are meh (to me) like Fremont dark star/rusty nail. It’s the luck of the draw sometimes.

Does Tavour allow you to change when your package is shipped? In other words, if you have items in your cart and are given a set date for shipping, can you push that date out to allow for more things to be added to your package in order to save on shipping?

Yes. You can also move it up if you want it shipped sooner.

I have a crate open but it gets tiring when they constantly sell IPA after IPA after IPA. Especially when it’s 8 dollars per can which is an easy pass for me.

Nice article on what a good pandemic partner Tavour has been for breweries they represent. GrubHub they are not.

    https://www.forbes.com/sites/amberg...-breweries-from-the-coronavirus/#7a1c50966faf

“Tavour is so easy to work with,” says Natalie Roberts, co-founder of 903 Brewers in Sherman, Texas. “They very quickly move a lot of beer without much additional work required by us. It is fun to see where all our beers end up. We get a lot of requests from people asking us to ship them other beers after finding us on Tavour. Sadly, breweries in Texas cannot ship beer so Tavour has helped grow our brand nationally. Our social media now has followers from all over the world.” 903 Brewers has sold more than $150,000 worth of beer in less than a year through Tavour and Roberts credits Tavour with keeping their cash flow moving as they pivoted their business model in March and April.

“We essentially lost all keg sales which has a much better margin than packaged beer,” she says. “Without Tavour we would have had to take a loan to make up lost sales of already produced beers.”

903 is one of my favorite breweries on tavour. If I ever make it back down to the state of Texas I’d plan on hitting them up.
