If only you could find the BA version in gas stations. Then again I somehow managed to get a bottle plus some B Bomb and Rusty Nail all the way out here when Fremont doesn't distribute to the east coast, so who knows.

Decided to stick with Brewery Ommegang today. This is my first time trying the Witte, and find it to be a beautifully dry, lemony, favorable concoction. Could drink this any time, anywhere, with anything and anyone.

I'm sincerely sorry to hear this. Watching that happen to a parent is awful; I watched it with my grandmother, who lived to be 95. In my Dad's family, men tend to die off relatively young from sudden blood clots, whereas the women go on forever. My Dad is now 73, and still active and sharp as a tack, but only his brother has lived longer (he died in 2011, at 79; literally dropped dead from a blood clot moments after getting out of bed one morning). I sometimes worry that the medication he's on and awareness of his condition will come with a trade-off like that.

At 75 my dad is the youngest out of 7 kids, and one of two remaining. My eldest uncle passed away last spring at 93. If the younger generations want to know about "adulting" try being in the middle of the train wreck of getting family business in order.

This guy is a dope lyricist. His name should be spread across more tongues, but I get it. I overstand. Peace.

A DIPA brewed by. Last Veil beer in the house. I know what I will be doing at 8:00 Tuesday morning. That is when Veil will start taking online orders for the brews they release that day. Worked out well last week.
