Just to follow up on this, while the package is late both tavour and the local delivery company were easy to work with and I was able to change the delivery location to my place of work to ensure no further issues from heat etc. so that’s cool.
They may have changed this. My ship date is 7-9 and I just checked and I am not able to move it up. I think they are way over there normal volume with the things going on so maybe they couldn't handle unplanned additional volume.
I’ve never ordered from them because I can’t wrap my head around how they price their beer. Sometimes they have some cool stuff at normal retail pricing & other times they have inflated pricing. That being said, I have so many great breweries around me there’s just no need to pay those inflated prices plus shipping for beer from out of state.
Tavour has a package of Hard Seltzers listed Which way to Seltzer Advocate? I’m out until they barrel age seltzer with lactose and seaweed.
I finally pulled the trigger on 2 beers: Perennial Artisan Ales - Intentionally Indulgent: $13.99 for a 16oz high abv Pastry Stout from an acclaimed brewery for Stouts. Libertine Brewing - Pacific Ocean Blue: $7.99 for a 375ml bottle of oak aged Gose. I don't know how much these prices are inflated, but they don't feel ridiculous. Also, I don't need to worry about shipping conditions as much since they are not IPAs. And generally, I don't want all those haze bombs anyway.
Those Perennial cans are $22/2 pack locally. I would rather pay $14 for a single honestly I'm not a fan of the 2-pack 16oz stout format
Does the selection improve in the colder months? I have only put two bottles in my cart in the last month and a half. On a given day, I figure that I have a 40% chance on an IPA. And if Tavour does not post an Untappd or BA score, that is usually very telling.
Theyre I found Pacific Ocean Blue to be one of the top four most delicious Goses I've ever tasted. Great choice, you are in for a real treat! Highly recommend drinking during the day, outdoors, and in the warm weather sunshine!
I saw this too. Can anyone weigh in on whether $26 for a 22 oz. of this is a good deal or at least worth it?
Evidently they also allocate certain amounts to certain areas. 2020 Rusty Nail popped up Monday evening here and sold out quickly.
