Conspiracy theory:

Really wondering if SP releases BA Ambiente this month or next. If I recall regular Ambiente was released around the same time as Abraxas. Now that BAA (BA Abraxas) is being released it would give the feel of a fun sibling rivalry if another BAA (BA Ambiente) was released in town. I know nothing has ever been mentioned about Ambiente going in barrels, but you gotta believe Cory wants to restore his title as the king of BA mexican stouts (even though most of us already know abraxas was his recipe). Note: none of this is based in fact, just a thought...

 

BA Ambiente is imminent from what i understand. he mentioned it in that long ass livestream interview thing a month or 2 ago.

 

With the way COVID is going I’m not too optimistic about stout season for Side Project . I think this is the longest Derivation gap in recent memory, and I bet they had hoped to release multiple blends this year including some new double barrels. I’m curious how they would handle those releases if this situation persists through the end of the year.

 

In that aforementioned “BA Ambiente” stream Cory said he hasn’t even thought about D14.


I’m also pretty sure currently that D6-D7 & D8-D9 were longer but this will definitely pass those.

 

of all the beers dropping this week i’m most excited for reflections, hopefully it’s really tasty. lots of tasty beer next week
