    If you're ever in Connecticut you need to stop by Connecticut Valley Brewing. They have themed their entire taproom on the Corsair.
    Check out some pictures of the place on Google Maps. Beer's pretty good also.

    Second time today, but who is counting. Currently drinking Dalliance, which is the latest from Collective Arts. It’s called Kveik Pale Ale and is a collab with Matron, a brewery that is about fifteen miles from my house. To put this in perspective, Matron is relatively new and very small, so this collab brings them a great deal of exposure in the Ontario market. I’ve been meaning to get there, but the Covid 19 thing has delayed that. Patios are now open, so I will make my way to Matron in the next week or so.

    We went in 2010. At the time, I was all liquored up on Glenlivet 12 year old Scotch.
    Me and the wife enjoyed that trip a lot. The food was awesome. Still have my hat and t-shirt.

    It's hard to make pot roast look appetizing in a picture since it's basically a messy looking dish. However, I like it when things come out the way you hope and this certainly met my expectations.

    Like most stuff I cook, it was on the spicy side with a healthy dose of crushed Thai chilies added to the equation. A small amount of tomato paste added a nice savory note as well. Rather enjoyed it I must say ...
