Believe it or not, kinda burned out on hazy IPAs. At 4.8% I'll probably burn through this 6 pack before the sun goes down.

For the Spitfire, get the Me 109 in a turning duel. Avoid the negative Gs due to the carburetor. Damn fuel injection.

And always, avoid the Hun in the sun.

A rare night as my kids are out of town for a few days. They have but allergies so this has been in my basement for awhile. It smells spot on, but the Funky Buddha one I’ve had previously was better.

UPS has mastered they system of making it so painfully impossible to make a claim even on insured packages. It's like going through a revolving door over and over. Their hope is you will get so frustrated you'll say f' it and drop the claim. It's their business model.

Rudy Frasca, in central Illinois. I am almost positive Rudy and Isaac Newton Burchinal, Jr. would have crossed paths though (and cool article by the way).

My Grandfather and Rudy were good friends before WWII, and then both in the same unit in Africa and Italy when it began. Rudy stayed in the navy after the war, then was one of the great business tycoons south of I-80 (Chicago is north of I-80, everything else is just Illinois ha). My Dad is still best friends with Rudy's son, and the mingling of two huge Catholic families, one with more money than God, the other wishing they had that, was always fun.

I have a picture of them, that they all signed when they visited Italy again in 1991, for the first time together after the war. They did the see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil recreation. My Grandfather is hear no evil, Rudy is see no evil ...with his other good war buddy Bob. (pardon the glare, I couldn't get a good picture). It's printed on horrible quality paper from my Grandpa's home office at the time. My Dad is a photographer and wanted to make me a good copy, though this is special. It's the only one they all signed.

White Elm Fluffernuttergus Imperial Milk Pastry Stout, 12.5% ABV. Pours black with a small brown head that left no lacing. Nose is peanut butter, chocolate, and marshmallow. Taste follows with peanut butter prevailing, some lactose, moderately sweet, no bitterness. Sure can't taste the alcohol. Excellent mouthfeel, if a bit under-carbonated. Overall outstanding. Fluffer supposedly refers to marshmallows. :sunglasses:

    4.33/5 rDev -0.2%
    look: 4 | smell: 4.75 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.25

So close to world-class, all it would have taken is more fluffer (marshmallow)

My favorite airplane I never flew, well I haven't flown any but if I could fly one the Mustang would be it. It looks fast and sexy just sitting on the runway. It defiantly was a welcome site for the guys that flew B-17s.
