    From an expensive meh, to a cheap, new IPA from my favorite Swedish brewery Emmaboda. This is Emmabrewda, and I like it. Very summery and easy to drink.

    Another hot, muggy day - best suited for lounging. I made some progress with the biography of William McKinley I'm reading and took the dog for a walk. She's a Boston Terrier with a very short muzzle and has trouble staying cool on days like this. As for me, I'm cooling off with this IPA from Twin Elephant. Cheers!

    I haven’t checked in on the old WBAYDN threads but i happened to have both the time and inspiration to do so.

    I was so moved by this Troegs Nimble Giant that I had to issue another public decree of love for this modern hop old school East Coast DIPA lifeboat in the turbulent NEIPA seas. Modern day masterpiece this one.

    Tired Hands Big Dream Sympathetic DIPA. I'm concluding that this is one of the few TH beers that improves with a little age. I mean, five weeks isn't exactly ancient, but longer than I usually wait. Anyway, the flavors are melding nicely now . . .
