    Both times that I've tried to see The Cult live here in Seattle somebody threw a M80 or something like that on stage almost IMMEDIATELY after their set started and both times Astbury just walked off.

    Only 99 bottles for this vintage. Local brewery made it. Brewer left half the barrel and is gonna top it off with a fresh batch to do Solera style releases each year.

    Dinner was great, fantastic sweet corn & the ribs & chicken came out close to perfect. Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing IPA. Starting to see a lot daylight in my beer fridge, not a bad thing, still some older beers in there hiding

    After our swim in the next door neighbors’ pool, Jr. Z took his mom to the beach and collected some water samples (he’s a marine biology nerd) and I stayed home and prepared a Maine blueberry pie, crab legs, and Caesar salad...paired w/Pinot Grigio...

    Post dinner, pie and CCB’s 2020 TBBW’s “Alex Espinosa” BBA Imperial Stout brewed with coffee, hazelnut, maple & vanilla beans:

    Bottled 3/4/20. Poured @ 54°. Even better than when I had it on draught at the brewery back in March...Layers of flavors - bourbon, milk chocolate, malted milk balls, coffee, hazelnut, gooey maple, sugary toffee candy, brown sugar, blackstrap molasses, vanilla and oaky dry tongue coating...whew! :stuck_out_tongue: CCB typically pulls out the stops for Tampa Beer Week every year, and even though Covid-19 canceled Hunahpu Days, CCB bottled, poured, and rocked its pub every day leading up to the cancellation of it’s main event. The beer in my glass is testament to just how fine some Florida Stouts compare nationally, imo. Cheers and enjoy!
