Correct, you can only do it once it goes live (the quantity field doesn't show up when there's none or one in stock).

I tried this earlier with reflections, and it told me maximum in cart was 500 items, then I had a cart of 500 bottles of reflections for $10k

you have to add more than what they have in stock to your cart for it to work, otherwise it'll add it all to your cart. personally i just smash in a bunch of numbers and do it

Can someone with a far better palate than I please provide a non-biased review of the differences between previous 375ml versions released of various SP products compared to their 750ml (or even 1.5L) counterparts? There is a premium (in the case of 1.5L a much higher premium) placed on the larger bottles and while I understand that for wine that you plan to sit down for a while, a larger format bottle has a much larger surface area coming into contact with a smaller amount of cork (which presumably results in better and the probability of less oxidized wine over time), I am not clear on the benefits of the same for beer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really like the smaller bottles because I can get through it in one sitting. The larger bottles, not so much, and I'm curious if I'm missing out on anything here.

Probably tough to have a comparison on the 375ml vs 750ml at this point - There are very few beers that SP has done in both 375ml & 750ml.
    • Fuzzy b4, Raspe b2 are the only ones where it's been in the same batch.
    • Bruin went from 375ml (on-site only) to 750ml, and Oude La Ruche went from 750ml to 375ml.
I haven't done them as a side by side but would say that I've generally preferred the couple of magnums I've had, and found them to be a bit less tart/acidic.

i was always under the assumption that the steep (insane) price of the magnums was a novelty (gimmick) thing. even if you wanted that much beer for a share you could just buy 2 750s and spend half the money.

With SP being my favorite brewery, I still have no idea where the magnum pricing comes from.

The closest comparable brewery is Casey and their magnums are $100, and they apologize for the magnum “up charge” since the bottles are more expensive.
