Isn't this about the time where FLO comes in and tells everyone to take a step back and stop chasing the hop dragon? I miss that guy.

I was just looking at the Threes site and saw they have 4 OH beers available: Forever Ever, DDH Green City, DDH SGE, and HDHC SME. How long ago were each of those released and what's the consensus on their respective qualities?

Forever ever in last week or so. DDH GREEN CITY is a regular, I had some I bought right before July 4th from 6/9, but I bet it's been rebrewed since then, HDHC were all week before July 4. SGE I think has been brewed multiple times but the ones I bought were first week July if I remember right.
Green City is the best of those. Forever ever is I think better than SGE. Never had HDHC SME, but HDHC reviews are mixed. Still probably tastier than sessions like the other two going by my experience with other half, but depends what you're looking for.
Green City isn't ACE or space diamonds but definitely good, best rep of their style of the choices, and not a victim of being overly sweet like some of their stuff in recent months.

Thanks, I was leaning toward Green City, just from what I remember reading here.

I just looked at OH's Instagram, going back to late winter, and the only version of Green City they've released has been the HDHC, twice, in early May and late June. So I have no idea how old the DDH that Three's has is. :grimacing:

DDH has been continually showing up around town even if unannounced online. I've been grabbing it at Threes, Eastern District, etc. We're just getting in cans what has been going out to bars.

It’s definitely recent, you can’t go by OH instagram postings anymore. Post-COVID they only announce hype stuff...I would say 60-70% of beers released go unannounced these days. To find out a bit more, you have to click on each of the delivery zone posts where they will hint on some new drops.

They have also started just throwing things up on their story more, so I agree the actual Insta posts aren't great indicators any more

I can confirm - as a newly minted northern westchester townie - that I picked up a DDH Green City 4 pack from DeCiccios Somers last week with a 6/22 can date.

I just went down to my “garage” (appears to be some sort of small, sparsely-furnished house that sits on the property with the express purpose of holding a beer fridge) to double check

yeah I'm getting mine tomorrow, we'll see what the date is on it. I was wondering the same thing though. Actually held out on getting Mosaic Dream before that because I couldn't find a recent posting of it being released.

Tbf I'd do the same thing. I'm absolutely a Tree House fanboy but I think Other Half is in the holy trinity of NEIPA's with TH and Hill Farmstead.

I wish it were easier for me to get these beers but not much I can do about that. We live in an amazing time for beer, that's for sure.

    From Trillium:

Our friends from @otherhalfnyc came to visit our tiny little brewery on Congress Street back in August of 2015 to brew our first ever collaboration beer.

Nearly five years later, we've hit refresh and amplified this recipe to levels it's never been before. Really Green Street, a Double IPA with unparalleled hopping rates, is available for pickup at all three locations tomorrow as well as for delivery. To commemorate this special occasion, we’ve brought back the OG t-shirt design.

Limit one case per person on the beer, $22.20/4-Pack

Good lord...$22.20/4 pk. for fuck's sake. Is a case limit even necessary at that price?

I’m like a chameleon. Now I drive a big truck, wear cut off t-shirts and drink bud lite like I’ve been doing it my whole life. Other what?
