Got a sous vide stick for Xmas, that thing is great for summer in an apartment. 90 sec steaks is perfect amount of cooking, otherwise I would just have cold cuts for dinner.

 

Good call...totally worked. I'll be knee deep in Fox Farm in no time. Serenity now!

Had one of the recent ACEs last night, was much better than what I had a while back. I didn't get the HDHC ACE so I can't compare to that, but it was def very good

 

Anyone have any strong opinions on this double mmm fruit? The last one of these I had (plum and cherry) was too sweet for me.

 

I remember this last time they released it, @afroskully, and found it enjoyable. Haven't had this batch. Also I don't drink many sours or Berliners so I would definitely seek corroborating evidence of my impression before making any financial decisions.

I seemed to give this one favorable reviews last time they had it in 2019, I do agree the mmm fruit beers are better sans tose. The ones I liked most were just fruited no lactose or vanilla

Happy to report the double mmm fruit is really good. Good amount of sharp tartness on this where the last version of this I had was sweet and muddled.

felt really funny driving to the brewery to just pick up this one 4 pack while a guy in front of me was picking up 20 cases!

 

that is how I feel getting like 3 4-packs and someone has an entire pallet going in their SUV

 

I got a can of Laced in Space when it first came out a few months ago and I just picked some up this past Tuesday since ACE sold out. This current batch was soooooooooo much better. I'm assuming this is the whole bad galaxy vs good galaxy thing. It's just stonefruit in your face. So damn good. This is the OH that I've missed since March.

Hop Deluge was really good too, but it was weird since it didn't really hit me as an OH beer. Someone said it reminded them of Haze on a previous page, and that was really spot on. It has a really nice melon finish, but not the cloyingly so like most recent EQ beers. I usually don't associate this with OH/Hop Shower, but it's a damn good beer.

Can #3 was D96's Anniversary Photo. So damn good for a triple.

I'm pretty fucking buzzed so I'm just gonna say OH's fruit beers are garbage. I got a can of the double MMM...Fruit plumb + Vanilla and it tasted like cough syrup. Like why the fuck are you making 7%+ berliners. IDK, happy Friday fuckers.

 

1st anniversary FLX is a top 5 ipa for me this year.

Glad to hear a good review of the new lACEd in Space. I didn't try the maligned first batch, but I figured the idea of ACE+SD should have a lot of potential, so I had to grab a can at Bread & Honey. Looking forward to trying it tomorrow.
